University of Queensland Lecturer against any public discussion on homosexual marriage - just elites only
There are one sided debates on important topics. This is one of them. Katharine Gelber , Professor of Politics and Public Policy, from the University of Queensland believes a debate on homosexual marriage by default will hurt people. She also believes the marriage act should be changed without public debate or input because of the risk of hurting homosexuals. Like Labor, Wong, and others she is incorrect. This is because suicides in homosexual friendly countries, where gay marriage has been approved, are still showing high suicide rates among single homosexuals and married homosexuals.
