Disney won't be releasing its new  Beauty and the Beast   remake in Malaysia. Malaysia approved a version of the movie for release there with its most pro-gay scene cut, but Disney then cancelled it altogether without explanation. The   Associated Press  reported that Malaysia's main cinema chains said the movie has been "postponed indefinitely." Beauty and the Beast  has caused controversy since its director, Bill Condon , revealed the children's film will feature an " exclusively gay moment ."  The character Le Fou has a confusing crush on Belle’s suitor, Gaston ,  according to Condon .  "Le Fou is somebody who on one day wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston," said Condon. "He's confused about what he wants. It's somebody who's just realizing that he has these feelings. And [the actor] makes something really subtle and delicious out of it." Because of the homosexual content,  Rus

So Disney is going to have an “ exclusively gay moment ” in the live-action film version of   Beauty and the Beast.   It’s not going to be a big thing, just a moment in the action of LeFou the manservant. Something “nice.” Something very feelings-oriented. That news follows close upon Disney Studios’  first animated same-sex kiss . We’ve been talking about this behind the scenes here at  The Stream.  Al Perrotta, our managing editor, made this prediction by email: Let’s not kid ourselves. The reason you put in a lighthearted, perhaps even obvious, gay attraction theme in  Beauty and the Beast  is to soften the ground so a Disney princess or heroine can be gay. That’s the goal. They’ll get away with it here because it’s likely to be humorous, over-the-top fun, and done with much skill. (The  Modern Family  lesson well applied. Disney has aired a cartoon with same-sex couples kissing. It has also been announced that their new movie " Beauty and the Beast " will feature a gay character in an attempt to normalize this lifestyle. They’re trying to push the LGBT agenda into the hearts and minds of your children—watch out! Disney has the right to make their cartoons, it’s a free country. But as Christians we also have the right not to support their company. I hope Christians everywhere will say no to Disney. I met Walt Disney when I was a young boy—he was very gracious to me, my father Billy Graham , and my younger brother when we visited.
