Pastor Jeremy Schossau of Metro City Church in Riverview, Michigan , is facing explosive backlash after offering classes to teens struggling with same-sex attraction and seeking help. In a now-deleted Facebook post, the church offered a workshop called, "Unashamed Identity" for girls 12-16 who are struggling with thoughts of being trans, bi, gay or other. People now are speaking up after being silenced by the vocal violent LGBT community. The battle over men accessing women’s bathrooms and vice versa has little do with bathrooms or even transgenderism, a well-known LGBT activist admitted last week.  It has everything to do with re-working society and getting rid of the “heterobinary structure” in which we live—eliminating distinctions between “male” and “female” altogether. Christians can disapprove of a behavior and still be civil and loving to the ones with whom we disagree. According to the  Bible , Christians are to live in peace with everyone as much as possible (Rom. 12:18); but we are not to compromise the word of God and participate in those things to which the Scriptures speak against.  Furthermore, when we call homosexuality a sin, we are saying that it violates the Word of God.  It is breaking the law of God and is therefore wrong.  But we Christians meet sinners every day, and we treat them lovingly.  This is what the New Testament tells us.  Jesus said, “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
