IKEA worker sacked for posting Bible quotes

Image
An Ikea worker in Poland has been sacked for quoting Bible verses condemning the sin of homosexuality in a case strikingly similar to Israel Folau’s battle with Rugby Australia, except this worker is unknown, not a football star just an ordinary worker. IKEA believes it knows better than God. SACKED BECAUSE OF HIS BELIEFS The worker, named in local media only as Tomasz K, has filed a lawsuit accusing the world’s largest furniture retailer of religious discrimination, sparking outrage in the heavily Catholic country where LGBT rights lag well behind the developed world. Mr Tomasz, a long-term employee at the Krakow store, was sacked after he refused to take down Bible verses he posted in response to a notice on the company’s intranet promoting a pro-LGBT event in May. “I was shaken up,” he told Polish national broadcaster TVP Info on Thursday, “I’ve been hired to sell furniture but I’m a Catholic and these aren’t my values.” HOMOSEXUAL MADNESS AT IKEA Ikea had asked wo

Americans vastly overestimate the size of the LGBT population

Image
In what is a testament to the marketing acumen of LGBT lobbyists and promoters, U.S. adults, on average, continue to believe that about 25% of the population is gay or lesbian,  more than five times the actual number . Overall, a full 90% believe in an inflated number, with 54% of Americans estimating that gays and lesbians constitute more than 20% of the population, according to a  June 17, 2019 Gallup poll . Only 8% of those polled come close to accurately estimating the LGBT population. Gallup Report, June 27, 2019 / Screenshot “Overestimations of the nation’s gay population may in part be due to the group’s outsized visibility,”  suggests  Gallup, citing a GLAAD report that found that 8.8% of primetime TV characters are LGBT.    Overlooked Gallup Data Tell a Bigger, More Important Story This most recent Gallup report was issued one day after the fourth anniversary of the Supreme Court’s  Obergefell  ruling which instituted same-sex “marriage” across the country. You can’t sack someone … because he expressed a Bible belief

You can’t sack someone … because he expressed a belief Israel Folau saga has unleashed “Christian culture wars”, triggering a fightback against big business and its increasing push to control how workers behave in their private lives, a leading employment lawyer has warned. Why because he quoted on his personal tweet the Bible.  Josh Bornstein, who heads Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, the largest employment law firm in the country, says corporations have become so obsessed with their own “brand management” they were demanding impossibly high “levels of impeccable behavior”. Mr Bornstein said Rugby Australia, still had no business sacking him for “his Christian views”. He said “broad and vague” codes of conduct and contractual obligations were being imposed on employees to make them abide by company policies and values. But they also extended to employees’ behavior outside the workplace. You can’t sack someone … because he expressed a belief That meant workers could be s

Sam Clench incorrectly judges Israel Folau tweet

Image
“I’m hoping for an apology. I’d be happy with that,” Israel Folau told reporters outside the Fair Work Commission in Sydney yesterday. But Sam Clench states Folau must apologize because clench believes Folau words from God stated in 1 Corinthians 6 are hurtful. Clench having no understanding of scripture and having not read the complete tweet simply focuses on the sin of homosexuality and says it is hurtful.  Yet Clench doesn't speak about the wicked, idolaters, thieves, greedy, drunkards slanders (that would include him) swindlers (Nigerian scams) ...will not inherit God's kingdom.  Clench states: "And that is the fundamental problem here. Folau honestly does not believe he said anything hateful. In fact, he thinks the exact opposite." Correct, like a parent warning a child not to touch a hot stove, Folau quotes 1 Corinthians 6 and warns a range of sins prevents us from God's kingdom. This is an expression of love. But because the LGBTQ movement has t

Footballer posts 1 Corinthians 6 - then get sacked

Image
Rugby Australia chairman Cameron Clyne has unloaded on Israel Folau while defending his organisation’s decision to terminate the ex-Wallaby’s contract because of a tweet. But his comments conflict with RA Ralene Cole's comments and clearly display Clyne has completely mismanaged this growing religious war and he doesn't understand the dynamics of the situation.  Israel Folua posted 1 Cor 6 which lists sinners who reject Christ go to Hell and encouraged by the love of Jesus to call many to repentance.....then he got sacked. In an interview with Nine newspapers after the two parties failed to reach an agreement over the former Wallaby’s sacking in Sydney on Friday, Clyne said the game had no other option. “(The alternative] would be that we’d have no sponsors at all because no sponsor has indicated they would be willing to be associated with social media posts of that sort and that includes government, because we’ve also heard from them,” he said.   Which Government Depar

‘You can’t win without gay players,’ Megan Rapinoe

Image
Megan Rapinoe showed no sign of stemming her outspoken mistaken and arrogant ways after scoring the goals that saw USA march one step closer towards the World Cup final. “Go gays!” she said after the 2-1 quarter-final victory over France in Paris and when asked to comment on whether it being Pride month made her contribution more personally significant.  “You can’t win a championship without gays on your team - it’s never been done before, ever. That’s science, right there! That's where the LGBT movement wants to go - domination in every area of life. Arrogant! “I’m motivated by people who like me, who are fighting for the same things. I take more energy from that than from trying to prove anyone wrong. That’s draining on yourself. But for me, to be gay and fabulous, during Pride month at the World Cup, is nice.” The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1–13; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26–

Sack Christians and promote homosexuality

SACK CHRISTIANS & PROMOTE HOMOSEXUALITY: RUGBY AUSTRALIA Cameron Clyne broke his silence to whine about the fact his shambolic outfit (Rugby Australia) is embroiled in a religious war after sacking superstar Wallaby Israel Folau for posting a biblical quote about sin and homosexuality on Instagram.  “There is nothing good about the place we’re in but the scenario in which we waive that breach through would be far worse. I would also say that we didn’t bring this situation on. We didn’t press send on this [post],” he told Nine. He desires to not offend homosexuals and limit private texts from his players. RA sacked Folau for declaring scripture.  Clyne is in a battle he doesn’t understand and is too arrogant to realize that corporate Australia doesn’t decide morality for the rest of us.

Discrimination: Female athlete competes with biological males

Image
Selina Soule is a high school female athlete, who now must compete against biological males  because of Connecticut's law requiring that boys, who identify as 'girls,' be admitted into girls' sports competitions. This is just plain wrong. And, totally against fairness and common sense!  When boys compete in girls' sports, they win because they have a natural advantage. It's scientifically proven, and it's also common sense. This crushes the motivation of girls who have worked hard to compete on a level playing field, only to enter into competitions which they can never, or rarely, win, despite all of their efforts . It also puts girls into harm's way in contact sports, AND it deprives female athletes of their right to fairly compete for college scholarships and other accolades.

Israel Folau case has been mishandled from the start; is it too late to make things right?

Image
Israel Folau and I don’t have much in common, but two things we share. The first is that we are both committed Christians within the evangelical tradition of faith. We take the Bible seriously as a book inspired by God. That helps me to understand Folau’s desire to share his beliefs ― his heart, his motivation, his passion. The second thing we have in common is that neither of us is theologians. Nevertheless, I do have to agree with Folau’s apparent view that any particular category of a sinner is going to hell because their identified sins are egregious. To be sure, in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Paul does give a list of wrongdoers who will not inherit the kingdom of God, and Folau was paraphrasing this passage.  However, passages of this kind are only open to one interpretation. It is in the first eight chapters of his letter to the Romans that Paul sets out in a systematic way the Christian gospel. In Romans 3:23 he wrote that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Th

Christian Florist Will Appeal to the Supreme Court in Same-Sex Wedding Dispute

Image
A florist who refused to create floral arrangements for a same-sex wedding will appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court after a Washington state court ruled Thursday that she violated the state’s civil rights law. The case presents the high court with an opportunity to decide whether conservative religious believers can use the First Amendment as a defense against laws requiring accommodation of LGBT people, a question the justices ducked in the 2018 Masterpiece Cakeshop ruling. “I could lose my business and life savings simply because I declined to celebrate and participate in a sacred event that violates my faith,” the florist, Barronelle Stutzman, said following Thursday’s decision. “No artist or creative professional should be forced by the government to create custom work that conflicts with their deeply held beliefs. That’s why I will appeal my case to the U.S. Supreme Court.” State prosecutors filed a consumer protection lawsuit against Stutzman, who owns and operates Arlene’

Why California Pastors Must Stand Up to Government Tyranny

Image
In the latest and most egregious example of attempted government overreach, California legislators have proposed a bill that would dictate what pastors preach from the pulpit. Specifically, “Assembly Concurrent Resolution 99 calls on ‘counselors, pastors, religious workers, educators’ and institutions with ‘great moral influence’ to stop perpetuating the idea that something is wrong with LGBT identities or sexual behavior. ACR 99 also condemns attempts to change unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion as ‘unethical,’ ‘harmful,’ and leading to high rates of suicide.” Put another way, these legislators are telling pastors and spiritual leaders to throw out the Bible, disregard the Lord’s will, ignore the testimony of thousands of ex-gays, and conform to extreme political correctness — or else. Stand Against and Defy This is one of the most frontal attacks on our religious freedoms in memory (or, perhaps, in our nation’s history). And it confirms what I have said for the

Repeal Obergefell: Christian Group Holds Rally at the Supreme Court on the Fourth Anniversary of the Decision

Image
“I think the average Christian has no clue about this freight train that’s coming.” Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, said that the homosexual agenda is the most powerful force in society today. “It’s the most powerful special interest on the side of the law that’s not on the side of God,” LaBarbera says that a lot of Christians just kowtow to the formidable group — perhaps because they don’t want to create a ruckus or maybe their pastor doesn’t preach on the issue of homosexuality. LaBarbera has organized a rally in front of the Supreme Court today to protest the Obergefell v. Hodges decision, on the fourth anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling to “redefine” marriage and legalize same-sex marriage. It’s God’s Truth LaBarbera’s goal? To overturn the ruling in 2015’s Obergefell. He wants Christians to see the issue as just as important as the right to life movement has been. So far, he’s seen Christians compromise on “gay marriage.” “We c

LGBT Pride Endued With LGBT Power in LA County

Image
I so appreciate the heart of those on both sides of this debate. My hope is that readers will read this entire article before drawing conclusions. Those who strongly believe in the Bible and God’s Will regarding sexual behavior also strongly believe in unconditional love and forgiveness. To say that authentic Christians hate homosexuals demonstrates a gross misunderstanding of the Christian faith. The ability to relate to people on their level, show genuine concern and love them regardless of their lifestyle is a mark of true Christianity. I know many are truly sincere in their efforts. However, the Bible is crystal clear on sexual sin, including homosexuality. Unfortunately, those with opposing views are often labeled as irrational, judgmental, bigoted, intolerant and “anti-choice.” Why is those pushing tolerance intolerable of opposing views? The reason is this is not about tolerance or hate-speech but about pushing an agenda … by any means necessary. Think about this: p

The ugly legacy of Stonewall

Image
The LGBT movement, including the push for marriage equality, has also helped upend repressive attitudes about sex, establishing nonmarital sex — and sexual behavior once thought perverse — as largely uncontroversial. (Last year, for instance, Teen Vogue posted a guide to anal sex.) Inherent in queer desire is the belief that sexual pleasure is a good in itself and need not be justified by reproductive ends, a principle enshrined in law by gay rights court decisions affirming that sex and marriage are not instruments for reproduction but expressions of individual liberty and dignity. Just as its loudest opponents feared, granting same-sex couples access to marriage has further aligned the hoary institution with sexual choice, helping sever the link between sex and diapers — at just the moment when abortion rights face their greatest test in a generation. Stonewall’s legacy isn’t just about making queer people look more like everyone else. It’s also, perhaps more mutinously, about ma

Catholic school parts ways with gay ‘married’ teacher, follows archbishop’s directives

Image
Just days after Brebeuf Jesuit High School  defied Archbishop Charles Thompson’s  decree stripping its Catholic identity, another Catholic high school in Indianapolis has acknowledged his authority and will “separate” from a teacher in a fake marriage or homosexual “marriage.” On Sunday, Cathedral High School announced that it would part ways with a teacher in a “public, same-sex marriage” out of concern that defying Archbishop Thompson’s decree could cost its nonprofit status and having Masses celebrated on campus.  A letter from the school’s board of directors  said its “agonizing decision” came after nearly two years of “earnest discussion and extensive dialogue with the Archdiocese” about the school’s “continued Catholic identity.” Noting that Archbishop Thompson has “responsibility to oversee faith and morals as related to Catholic identity,” the letter said he made it clear that keeping a teacher who is in a “public, same-sex marriage” would mean losing the school’s Catho
