Church sign declaring ‘Bruce Jenner is still a man’ vandalized following LGBT protests

After an American pastor refused to bow to pro-LGBT protesters’ demands that he change his church message board, he found the sign in ruins. Pastor Justin Hoke of Trinity Bible Presbyterian Church in Weed, Siskiyou County, California angered some folks when he put up a message on the marquee outside his church last week reading “Bruce Jenner is still a man. Homosexuality is still a sin. The culture may change. The Bible does not.” Although he normally changes his sign from week to week, Hoke said he would not take down his message until the protests cease. However, the protestors declared that they would keep up their pickets until the sign comes down.   Someone has saved them the effort, however. This morning Hoke found that his message board had been broken into and some of the letters of his sign missing or strewn on the ground. “I woke this morning to find that our sign had been vandalized,” he informed friends over Facebook. “They broke not only the plexiglas and sto

Transgender - Danger: Politicians personal views don't match science

Transgender - Politicians personal views don't match science A law that would allow transgender South Australians to have their gender formally recognised without undergoing surgery will eventually pass, Premier Jay Weatherill says. A conscience vote on the proposal was lost in state parliament on Thursday with measures to prevent couples being forced to divorce if a partner transitioned also defeated. The premier has championed the bill but was absent from the evening vote because of a trip to Finland to visit a nuclear waste dump . Mr Weatherill says  "As I understand it, there is a majority of people that support this bill and it will ultimately become law at some point, either later this year or early next year." Politicians ignore science - promote LGBT ideology  Yet Dr. Paul R. McHugh , the Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and former psychiatrist–in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital , who has studied transgender

The transgender suicide epidemic: is accepting their confusion really the answer?

Image
People who suffer from gender confusion are encouraged by the current cultural climate to "be themselves," meaning reject the gender they were born with. "Transgender" teens are taught that what they feel is who they are and that to be happy and fulfilled, they must become the opposite sex. When Bruce Jenner decided to publicly look like a woman, he was supported by the mass media . Even the president of the United States , when Jenner decided to have castration surgery, applauded him as a "courageous" hero. But studies repeatedly show that "transgender" people who seek to become the opposite sex are in fact not happy or fulfilled. In fact, a life-or-death internal war is continually going on within, to the degree that many, if not most, seek to end their lives. That's what the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Williams Institute found when the foundation analyzed results from the National Transgender Discrimin

The Lesbians Daughter - Life as the offspring of a lesbian

English: Gender symbols, sexual orientation: heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality. Česky: (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) I remember the night Ellen came out on her TV show in front of millions of people. My mom and her girlfriend were big Ellen fans and we watched the show religiously. After the episode went off that night I was left with the sensation of a bomb having just exploded before my eyes and waiting for the fallout. Strangely, it never came. At least, not that I was aware of. For me it seemed as though that was the beginning of this tidal wave that is currently descending upon society at the present moment. The onslaught of pushing homosexuality and alternative lifestyles into every nook and cranny is suffocating. I think that should speak volumes coming from a child raised by lesbians. From gay pride flags at military celebrations to smut mags at the grocery stores, homosexuality is being thrown up all over the place. While I agree that no one should be treated b

40 questions for Christians who think God approves of homosexual marriage

For evangelicals who lament last Friday’s Supreme Court decision , it’s been a hard few days. We aren’t asking for emotional pity, nor do I suspect many people are eager to give us any. Our pain is not sacred. Making legal and theological decisions based on what makes people feel better is part of what got us into this mess in the first place. Nevertheless, it still hurts. There are many reasons for our lamentation, from fear that religious liberties will be taken away to worries about social ostracism and cultural marginalization. But of all the things that grieve us, perhaps what’s been most difficult is seeing some of our friends, some of our family members, and some of the folks we’ve sat next to in church giving their hearty “Amen” to a practice we still think is a sin and a decision we think is bad for our country. It’s one thing for the whole nation to throw a party we can’t in good conscience attend. It’s quite another to look around for friendly faces to remind us we’re no
