Community leader criticizes ‘deceptive’ survey being used to push gay ‘marriage’ in Mexico

As the Mexican senate debates the creation of homosexual “marriage,” the country’s media are trumpeting a survey that claims to show shows that the majority Mexicans are in favor of legalizing such unions.  However, Juan Dabdoub, president of Mexico ’s  Confamilia  (Mexican Family Council), told LifeSiteNews.com that the statistics are “an elegant way of telling lies.”  The survey “omits any reference to the structure of the sample,” he told us. “Therefore, it’s not valid to draw conclusions from this study, and doing so demonstrates a lack of ethic and knowledge by those who conducted it and published it.”  The survey  conducted in July by the polling agency  Parametría , asked Mexicans if they were in favor of the legalization of “marriage” between two people of the same sex. Image via Wikipedia Mexican pro-lifers, including the Cardinal Archbishop of Guadalajara , are protesting the recent passage of a homosexualist “human rights” amendment to the nation’s constitution by the Mexican Senate . The reform, which was passed in a perfectly unanimous 107-0 vote, declares “ sexual preference ” to be a “ human right .” It must now be approved by the nation’s Chamber of Deputies and 17 of Mexico’s states in order to become part of the constitution. Cardinal Archbishop Juan Sandoval Iñiguez denounced the measure as a Pandora’s box of sexual perversion. “When sexual preferences are protected, the door is open to every type of irregularity and aberration, because it is fitting to note that there are very aberrant sexual preferences, for example the case of pedophilia, zoophilia, among others,” wrote Sandoval in the the archdiocesan newspaper El Seminario. “In this way, practices like so-called ‘marriage’ between people of the same sex, will remain, so to speak
