Biden and Gay Marriage

Image
President Joe Biden has signed the so-called Respect for Marriage Act into law, spurning warnings the act will impede religious freedom, and surrounded by LGBTQ activists, lawmakers, and drag queens. “Today is a good day,” Biden said Tuesday as he signed the legislation. “A day America takes a vital step toward equality, for liberty and justice, not just for some, but for everyone. Toward creating a nation where decency, dignity, and love are recognized, honored, and protected.” “We’re here today to celebrate their courage and everyone who made the day possible,” the president added. “Courage that led to progress we’ve seen over the decades, progress that gives us hope that every generation will continue on our journey toward a more perfect union.” The move was strongly condemned by religious leaders like Catholic Vote President Brian Burch. “Laws passed during lame-duck sessions are by definition desperate,” Burch said Tuesday. “This gross attempt to redefine marriage allows radical a

Gay White House

“I pledge to be a president who seeks not to divide, but to unify,” Joe Biden said in his “unifying” inaugural address. He even pointed to Scripture in a nod to his supposed Catholic faith: “The Bible tells us that to everything there is a season — a time to build, a time to reap, a time to sow, and a time to heal. This is the time to heal in America.” Well, on Tuesday, he trashed both the Bible and unity by signing the (Dis)Respect for Marriage Act and then lighting up the White House in rainbow colors. The God Biden claims to believe in established marriage when He created Adam and Eve. (He also created the rainbow for an entirely different purpose, but that’s another story.) Yet just like Biden disregards the sanctity of life, he couldn’t care less about the Creator’s definition of marriage, or about the religious liberty of those who object to being forced to affirm its redefinition. Some Catholic. Politically, Biden has done nothing but violate his pledge to unify Americans. In fa

Joe Biden performs his first marriage - between two men

Vice President Joe Biden has performed his first wedding ceremony – presiding over the “marriage” of two men. It says something about Biden as a National leader - almost the spirit anti-Christ? Biden performed the ceremony at 4 p.m. yesterday inside the vice president’s residence, located at the U.S. Naval Observatory. Biden reportedly obtained a license from the District of Columbia before officiating the service for Brian Mosteller, the director of Oval Office operations, and Joe Mahshie, a trip coordinator for Michelle Obama . He then tweeted out a picture of the two men holding hands as he looked on approvingly. Biden announced his support for redefining marriage in May 2012, before Barack Obama officially changed his position on the issue, adding that the TV show “Will and Grace” had done “more to educate the American public” about homosexuality than anything else. “The situation involving Vice President Biden and his marrying of two homosexuals gives further evidence of

Biden: Gay marriage ‘fulfills … the spirit of the Declaration of Independence’

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) According to Vice President Joe Biden , states that defend true marriage today are just as guilty of oppression as King George was when the United States declared their independence from the British crown 238 years ago. In a July 4  speech  at Philadelphia ’s Independence Hall , where the Declaration was signed on that date in 1776, Biden told onlookers that same-sex “marriage” should be celebrated as “the civil rights issue of our day, making it clear that you should be able to marry whoever you love — period.” “Ladies and gentlemen, ultimately that’s what we’re celebrating today — the continuation of the expansion of the notion that all men are created equal ,” Biden said. “There’s been a constant march in America on the road to guaranteeing every man, woman and child the dignity that you’re entitled to. ... That’s what these men who said in this building behind me fully understood.”

Leading Rabbi ‘mortified’ after Biden praises Jews’ ‘immense influence’ in promoting gay ‘marriage’

A leading Rabbi says he is furious after Vice President Joseph Biden   credited  Jewish leaders last week for the success of same-sex ‘marriage’ in America . “The Jewish people have contributed greatly to America. No group has had such an outsized influence per capita as all of you standing before you,” Biden said last Tuesday night at a reception hosted by the Democratic National Committee in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month .  Rabbi Yehuda Levin Biden offered praise for Jewish cultural and artistic “movements in America” that he said were responsible for changing the country’s attitudes on marriage.  “I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it’s in Hollywood or social media are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry. The influence is immense, the influence is immense. And, I might add, it is all to the good,” he said.  Biden’s comments have caused outrage.  “I’m mortified, I’m absolutely mortified,” said Rabbi Yehuda Levin, spokesman for the U

In all fifty states across the nation two people of the same sex can live together, have their religious community bless their union, and have their workplace offer them various joint benefits — if the religious communities and workplaces in question so desire. Many liberal houses of worship and progressive businesses have voluntarily decided to do so. There’s nothing illegal about this. There’s no ban on it.
