Bermuda has abolished immoral homosexual marriage less than a year after it was legalised, replacing homosexual unions with domestic partnerships .  On Wednesday, Bermuda Governor John Rankin signed into law  a bill that reverses an earlier Supreme Court ruling on immoral sinful homosexual marriage. The country's parliament passed the Domestic Partnership Act on Friday (8 December), which will end same-sex marriage. Twenty-four MPs voted in favour of the Act, with 10 opposing the legislation. The bill was passed just six months after a gay couple won a landmark ruling to marry. The Supreme Court ruled that Winston Godwin and his Canadian fiancee Greg DeRoche should be allowed to marry, paving the way for marriage equality. The couple's lawyer Mark Pettingill hailed the ruling as a victory for human rights in Bermuda. "The message of hate and exclusion has been rejected. Human rights means human rights for all humans. Once this is regarded as settled law, anyone who tries to teach children to aspire to create a child-centered family with a father and a mother will be labeled as a bigot and accused of hate speech . Can you doubt that the textbooks will be far behind? Any depictions of "families" in schoolbooks will have to include a certain proportion of homosexual " marriages " as positive role models. Television programs will start to show homosexual "marriages" as wonderful and happy (even as they continue to show heterosexual marriages as oppressive and conflict-ridden).
