Some confused Biblically illiterate parents are speaking out after a first grade teacher was fired after she posted pictures of her immoral sinful lesbian wedding on social media. Jocelyn Morffi taught first grade at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School in Miami for seven years. Last weekend, she married her girlfriend and posted pictures of the ceremony to Facebook . On Thursday, Morffi was fired. In a letter to parents, Principal Carlota Morales called it a “difficult and necessary” decision. Nearly a dozen parents who had children in Morffi’s class came to the school to protest her firing. The parents called her a “great teacher” and said they were aware that she is openly gay and that it made no difference. A Michigan school district has stopped the practice of allowing members of one biological sex to use the restrooms of the opposite sex after parents pulled their two sons out of elementary school over the issue. Last week, Matt Stewart's nine-year-old son told him, "There was   a girl in the boys’ bathroom " with him and other male elementary kids.  When Stewart called the school, the principal told him the Obama administration's federal guidance on transgender students forced them to allow transgender students in the bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers of their chosen gender, and not their biological sex. Violating the policy means losing federal funding. Stewart talked it over with his wife, and they decided to take their sons out of Southwest Elementary School in Howell, Michigan . In a move that has outraged many parents, last Wednesday the Toronto District School Board voted 16-6 against asking the City of Toronto to uphold Canadian nudity laws at the World Pride parade on June 29. Every year the parade includes marchers in various objectionable sexualized  garb , such as sadomasochistic clothing, as well as topless women, and even full frontal nudity. TDSB trustee Sam Sotiropoulos had presented a motion asking the Board to  write  an official letter to the mayor and Toronto City Council to ask “whether or not the public nudity law of Canada will be upheld and enforced at future Pride events in which the TDSB participates.” His motion was decisively defeated by the school board , which did not debate the matter, but rather forced a snap vote on it. The motion’s failure was met with cheers from gathered parade supporters. Instead, a  motion  of support for the Parade was passed.
