Is disapproving of homosexuality and homosexual marriage spreading hate?

Teaching that homosexuality is a sin is not spreading hate anymore than teaching that lying is a sin is spreading hate. Christians can disapprove of a behavior and still be civil and loving to the ones with whom we disagree. According to the Bible , Christians are to live in peace with everyone as much as possible (Rom. 12:18); but we are not to compromise the word of God and participate in those things to which the Scriptures speak against. Furthermore, when we call homosexuality a sin, we are saying that it violates the Word of God. It is breaking the law of God and is therefore wrong. But we Christians meet sinners every day, and we treat them lovingly. This is what the New Testament tells us. Jesus said, “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
