There is No Justification for a Conservative Senator to Sign the ‘Respect for Marriage Act’

Image
Why would 12 Republican senators vote in favor of a bill which “provides statutory authority for same-sex and interracial marriages”? How could almost 25% of all Republican senators agree to back this? The issue, of course, is not their backing of interracial marriages. No major leader with any credibility or respected platform is saying such marriages should not be recognized by law. In fact, it is misleading even to put interracial marriages, which contain the fundamental building blocks of marriage and family, namely a man and a woman, in the same category as same-sex “marriages,” which by definition omit either the man or the woman. Rejection of interracial marriages is a matter of bigotry, not biology. The issue is these Republican leaders offering their names in support of these same-sex unions. What could possibly motivate them? Accepting Obergefell and Thinking This Bill Protects Religious Liberties  In the words of Sen. Mitt Romney, one of the aforementioned 12 and himself a d

Alberta’s new conservative party to host pro-LGBT pancake breakfast, Jason Kenney to attend

Alberta United Conservative Party (UCP) leader Jason Kenney says he’ll be going to the pancake breakfast his party is holding to coincide with Edmonton’s Pride Parade on Saturday. The UCP planned the event after Edmonton Pride Festival officials turned down its application last month to march in the Pride parade. “We will be hosting a breakfast that morning for members of the United Conservative Party who want to celebrate Pride,” Kenney told reporters at the Alberta legislature Monday, according to the CBC . “I look forward to being there along with some of our MLAs. So we’ll be doing our best to support the broader community while respecting the decision of the organizers.” Kenney says he won’t be a spectator at the parade, the CBC reported. “My mom told me not to show up at a party I’m not invited to,” he said. The Edmonton Pride Festival announced in a May 3 press release that the UCP didn’t meet the criteria that measures if parade marchers are “connected, engaged and welc

Australian PM warned pro-traditional marriage will abandon pro-LGBT Government

The No campaign on same-sex marriage has warned the Turnbull government not to ignore religious freedoms or risk alienating “tens of thousands” of politically active members in a new grassroots conservative movement that could campaign against the Coalition at the next election. The warning came after Tony Abbott last week highlighted the rise of a new conservative movement prepared to fight for Western culture and religious freedom as a result of the same-sex marriage debate. In a move which could threaten the Liberal Party base, the No campaign yesterday revealed it had the “proven tools and infrastructure” to turn religious freedoms into an election issue. A senior No campaign source told  The Australian  that many of its supporters felt they had been “taken for granted by a government who quite frankly has left many of them behind” and would be closely watching how religious freedoms were protected in the event of a Yes vote. With voting closing yesterday in

David Cameron should resign for bringing Immoral Homosexual marriage to the UK

Ignorant of God's law and Christ's prohibition, pride come before a fall. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) BRITISH Prime Minister David Cameron has hailed the first same-sex marriages in England and Wales as sending a “powerful message” about equality. The message is simply we reject Christ and God almighty and the Bible. The law changed on Saturday after midnight, with a number of gay couples vying to claim the title of being the first to be married in Britain by trying to time it perfectly so their vows were said just seconds after the clock struck 12. Using marriage as a form of up your nose we told you so. The prime minister said the reform was necessary because “when people's love is divided by law, it is that law that needs to change”. The PM is however a very confused man when it comes to marriage and love and should stand down immediately. Writing in the gay news service, Pink News , he said “this weekend is an important moment for our country” because “we wil

UK Conservative Party loses billionaire donor over ‘gay marriage’ push

LONDON , March 5, 2014  – One of the UK Conservative Party ’s biggest donors is reportedly pulling his funding after the party created “gay marriage” last year. The billionaire banker, philanthropist and arts patron Michael Hintze is “fed up” with the liberal leanings of the current Tory leadership, reports the  Daily Mail . Hintze, a Catholic who has helped the Vatican restore valuable art works by Michelangelo, has donated at least £1.2 million to the Conservative Party and given loans of at least £2.5 million more since 2005, according to estimates by the  Daily Mail . The paper reports that Hintze is calling in the loans and has thrown his support into UKIP, “just as the party needs a fortune to pay for next year’s General Election.” The report did not specify that Hintze would be switching his financial attention to another party. Shakespeare quotes “a Tory insider” who said, “Michael is fed up with David Cameron and [Chancellor] George Osborne and doesn’t see why he s

UK Prime Minister David Cameron wants to export immoral homosexual marriage ‘around the world’

Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed to use his government’s new same-sex "marriage” law to spread the doctrine of homosexual “marriage” all over the world. At a reception at No. 10 Downing St. today for 150 leaders of the British homosexual lobby, Cameron said that together they had set “an example of how to pass good legislation in good time. Many other countries are going to want to copy this.” PM David Cameron meets with homosexual activists. “I’m going to export the bill team,” he joked. “I think they can be part of this global race and take [marriage redefinition] around the world.” Cameron told the assembled group he was “personally proud” to be “probably the only Conservative prime minister who’s taken this step.” He particularly noted the influence that the legislation will have as a teaching instrument for young people. “Young children growing up at school, who might be uncertain about their sexuality, knowing that now, in the highest place in the la

They are passionate, motivated and determined to fight on against a law that renders terms like husband and wife meaningless and threatens one of the foundations of the institution of marriage: fidelity and faithfulness.”  Throughout the process, opponents of the legislation sai
