57 Proposed Laws shutting down LGBTQ Zealots to Start in 2017

Image
LGBT immoral flag colors.  We are just weeks into the state legislative sessions of 2017, and there are already dozens of very good moral laws being proposed across the United States that would stop the immoral progress the militant LGBT community .  These bills tend to appear in moral conservative states, sponsored by Republican senators. Some of these bills are targeted at mentally confused transgender people— " bathroom bills " that would make it unlawful for trans people to use public restrooms—while other, bills allow  "religious freedom."  Alabama, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri , Oklahoma , South Carolina , South Dakota , Texas, Virginia, and Washington state have all introduced the bathroom laws. Many states have proposed multiple bills: Missouri has three on the table, as does Virginia, and there are two in both Kentucky and Texas. In total, there are currently 19 very sensible bathroom bills proposed, and this number is only

Australia: Forgotten Children and Homosexual marriage

Image
One of America ’s leading public Christians and recognised by   Time Magazine   as a leader among evangelicals, he has just published his own book about the same-sex marriage crisis entitled   We Cannot Be Silent .  Until recently, there have been few Australian voices resisting this cultural tsunami and the foaming rainbow wash sweeping everything in its path.  It has fallen to a humble Toowoomba -based family GP , my friend Doctor David van Gend, to pen what is a damning indictment of the idea of redefining marriage in the Australian context.  Stealing from a Child – the injustice of ‘ marriage equality ’   is a very provocative title.  Doc, couldn’t you have toned it down a little, I wondered.  But the leaders of the successful Irish campaign to redefine marriage admitted in their book,   Ireland Says Yes , that our side’s concern for the right of children to be allowed to know the love and nurture of both their m

The faulty homosexual arguement

Image
The LGBTIQ lobby has promoted its case largely through "no difference" arguments : there is no difference between a man and a woman (" gender neutrality "); there's no difference between an opposite-sex couple and a same-sex one because in both cases love is the couple's bond and marriage is just a public recognition of that love; there is no difference between a child having a mother and a father and having two mothers or two fathers , again, because love is all that counts. Without question, love is important for children, but we are learning that other factors, such as complementarity in parenting between a mother and a father, are also important, even possibly because of epigenetic effects - different genes are activated (imprinted) by the different parenting behaviour of a man compared with a woman. All children, including those who will be homosexual, need both a mother and a father. Yet another consideration favouring children's right

Feminist icon: Transgender ‘women’ like Bruce Jenner aren’t women. They’re delusional.

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Author and '60s radical feminist Germaine Greer is coming under fire after telling the BBC that transgender "women," such as Bruce Jenner , are not women and that they don't "look like, sound like, or behave like women.” Greer was responding to a petition that was being passed around by leftist activists demanding that Cardiff University   cancel a lecture   by the radical feminist scheduled for November 18 because of her history of making statements questioning transgenderism. Criticizing Glamour magazine ’s decision to name Jenner " Woman of the Year ," Greer told the BBC, "I think misogyny plays a really big part in all of this, that a man who goes to these lengths to become a woman will be a better woman than someone who is just born a woman.” Greer suggested that Jenner's transition was part of an effort to gain attent

Disproportionately gay: an alarming trend in youth literature

Image
The way to win over a culture is to capture the minds and hearts of its young people. The gay-rights movement has certainly learned that lesson, which helps explain a current trend in youth literature. Anyone who reads books for teens these days will tell you that portrayals of gay relationships and characters are rapidly increasing. In fact, they’re increasing to the point where they’re all out of proportion to reality. If you know the statistics on rates of homosexuality in the real world, you know that it’s somewhere around three percent, maybe less. Not so in the world of Young Adult fiction ; there, it’s far more pervasive. Book reviewers on the Youth Reads page at our website  BreakPoint.org  are noticing that the subject is coming up in more and more contemporary teen novels. It doesn’t matter if they’re romances or fantasy novels or any other genre—the theme runs through all kinds of books for this age group. Acclaimed author Rainbow Rowell is just one prominent rece

Religious freedom is being threatened by gay marriage

In the balcony of the chambers. photographed by the Celebration Chapel of Kingston NY (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The concerted push to legalise same-sex marriage in Australia threatens to undermine the religious freedoms of our faith communities. Earlier this month, the private office of Australian Marriage Forum President David van Gend was the  target of vandals  who spray-painted the word ‘Bigot’ across the building’s edifice. Despite cautions from Australian Marriage Equality to ‘not jump to conclusions about the perpetrator’, it’s hard to believe that van Gend was targeted for any reason other than his opposition to same-sex marriage. Regrettably, the AMF President is not the first casualty of this war against religious freedom – nor will he be the last. Over the past four years, public opponents of same-sex marriage have been subject to a coordinated campaign o

Transgenderism a thought experiment - gone bad

Image
A recent  piece  in  The Federalist  by Stella Morabito captures some of the political and statistical realities surrounding transgenderism.  The ease with which societal elites in academia, medicine, and Hollywood sanction a child's war against his own body and call it healthy, normal, or something to celebrate has its foundation in the contraceptive revolution of our culture.  Women were told that the very thing that most marks them as a woman, their wondrous reproductive systems, their fertility, is their enemy.  If only they can break free from the tyranny of their own bodies, they will be free.  But we cannot break free from our bodies without further destruction. Hormonal contraception has brought us all kinds of "liberation" - cancer, unintended miscarriages, the masking of symptoms of reproductive disease until it may be too late to treat or mitigate, changes to our pheromone profile that attract and repel different types of sexual mates, the commodification
