Image
Volunteer axed over marriage  On the first day same-sex marriages took place in England and Wales , a grandfather took a stand against the change – and then lost his role volunteering with the Red Cross . Bryan Barkley held a sign which read “No  Same Sex Marriage ” and “No Redefinition of Marriage”.  He spent almost 20 years volunteering for the Red Cross, but following his actions Mr Barkley was told of the decision to withdraw his “opportunity to volunteer with the  British Red Cross  permanently and with immediate effect”.

March for Marriage in Paris was so huge it shocked the organizers

PARIS, October 18, 2016 – The “Manif pour tous” has done it again. On Sunday, the French capital was once again the meeting place for tens of thousands of peaceful but determined demonstrators demanding laws that respect true marriage and ban artificial procreation, especially surrogate motherhood and   in vitro   fertilization for same-sex couples. To be honest, in the absence of legislative deadlines, four and a half years into François Hollande ’s presidential mandate, no one was expecting an enormous turn-out. But some 200,000 people, according to the organizers – the police only counted 24,000, something of an understatement… – marched through the wide avenues of the residential 16th   arrondissement   à Paris towards the Place du Trocadéro , across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower , in the still warm autumn sun. Even the organizers were taken by surprise: the venue was too small for the crowds whose steady flow kept pouring onto the square between 3 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.,

FRENCH opponents of same-sex marriage and adoption have staged their first major protests , rallying more than 100,000 people nationwide as police used tear gas against counter-demonstrators in one city. Wearing pink scarves and T-shirts and carrying pink balloons with the image of a man and woman holding two children's hands, demonstrators on Saturday marched against plans by the socialist government to legalise same-sex marriage and adoption. Demonstrators rallied under slogans such as "Pro-marriage, not anti-gay" and "Long live the true family". And a Catholic humourist who goes by the name of "Frigide Barjot" opened the Paris protest. "This is a great movement that is being launched," she told the crowd through a megaphone. Image via Wikipedia Spain ’s largest homosexual organization, the Spanish Confederation of Lesbians, Gays , Bisexuals , and Transgender People (COLEGAS), has issued a statement condemning “kiss-ins” and other forms of protest carried out by homosexuals against the pope and Catholics at the country’s recently-concluded World Youth Day. The organization has issued a communiqué not only denouncing the protests, but has called for the “immediate dismissal” of the government’s delegate to Madrid , Dolores Carrión, for allowing the vulgar protests to take place. The organization noted its differences with the Catholic Church on sexual morals and condoms, but added, “we cannot remain in silence in the face of the violent events against some pilgrims.” “Whether or not we accept their message, they have come in peace and the public celebration of their faith,” added COLEGAS. According to COLEGAS the homosexual protesters, who are “profusely subsidized by certain public administrations,” are
