UK MP speaks out against Homosexuality - gets slaughtered

Portsmouth Bishop Philip Egan said it wasn’t surprising that Rees-Mogg was the target of backlash from those who despise the sexual teaching of the Bible. When their lifestyle is challenged, they “lash out, full of rage” as a way of justifying their situation. “Like with a drunk, you can’t reason with them,” he said. Bishop Egan went on to describe how the rejection of sexual morality opens one up to demonic influence. “When on matters of sexual morality, people do not espouse chastity, they open themselves to deep-seated forces within. They can even unwittingly allow the Evil One to bind himself like a serpent tightly around their hearts,” he said. The bishop added that often when this poi

UK: Why does PM support sodomy?

Britain marked the 50th anniversary to recognize homosexual sin by acknowledging that all of society was wrong to treat homosexuals as criminals. The 1967 Sexual Offenses Act allowed sex between two men over 21 years of age “in private,” which excluded places such as hotels. The legislation initially covered only England and Wales, and was expanded to Scotland in 1980 and to Northern Ireland in 1982. The law did not apply to women. Laws against "gross indecency" and "buggery" — which were used to prosecute immoral homosexual men — remained on the books until 2004. Homosexual marriage became legal in England, Wales and Scotland in 2014. It is still banned in Northern Ireland. A ban on homosexual men and lesbians serving in Britain's military was lifted in 2000. The decision to allow homosexual to serve openly in the military was granted in 2011. British Prime Minister Theresa May ; her predecessors David Cameron , Gordon Brown, Tony Blair and John Major

Homosexual Scottish Secretary urges DUP to change its position on immoral homosexual sin

The Scottish Secretary David Mundell  a homosexual has called on the Democratic Unionist Party to "change its position" on homosexual sin. Theresa May is due to meet the DUP leader Arlene Foster on Tuesday to finalise a deal on propping up her minority government. Mr Mundell, the Conservative MP for Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale who has been reappointed Scottish Secretary, became the first openly- gay Conservative Cabinet secretary when he came out in January 2015. Questioned on the DUP's stance on gay rights , he said he does "not subscribe" to the Northern Irish party's position. Northern Ireland is the only part of the British Isles where same-sex marriage remains outlawed. This is a good thing! "We're not in any way signing up to the DUP manifesto. Most of these issues are devolved to the Northern Ireland Assembly." He added: "I would like to see the DUP change its position, and indeed Northern Ireland as a whole chan

Theresa May appoints Justice Secretary opposed to LGBT rights who said 'marriage is for procreation of children'

New Justice Secretary David Lidington has consistently opposed LGBT rights including gay marriage and has voted in favour of repealing the Human Rights Act . Prime Minister Theresa May replaced Liz Truss with the MP for Aylesbury during her cabinet reshuffle, following the Conservatives’ disastrous performance in the general election. He will also hold the office of Lord Chancellor .  But the 60-year-old's record shows he has voted against gay rights since the 1990s. This is to be celebrated! Ruth Davidson storms out of interview over DUP gay rights question Mr Lidington takes a traditional view of marriage and was one of just 47 MPs to vote against the civil partnerships bill in 2004, which other MPs who opposed gay marriage for religious reasons were happy to vote for. According to the website, They Work For You , Mr Lidington twice voted against allowing same-sex couples to marry in 2013. He also voted against an amendment to the Adoption and Children Bill to allow same-

Same-sex marriage myths driven by deceit and ignorance

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) SO it is proven, Australians are happy to see the institution of marriage redefined by allowing same-sex couples to marry. That is if you trust the polls touted by the gay lobby. Polling is often about the questions asked and how they are worded — 78 per cent of the 1000 surveyed by Crosby Textor last year agreed that “if it doesn’t hurt anyone else, gay couples should be able to do what makes them happy, including marry”. I’m surprised the response isn’t higher. If there is no harm in something and it makes people happy, why not agree? “Excluding same-sex couples from marriage fosters discrimination,” said 78 per cent. Yes it does, the Marriage Act is discriminatory , that is why not everyone can marry. We all experience discrimination. Not being allowed to go in the la

UK MP wants churches shut down if they refuse to marry gays

Christian churches must be banned from performing any marriages if they refuse to hold civil partnerships ceremonies for gay couples, a Conservative MP has demanded. Mike Weatherley has urged the Prime Minister to show no toleration to churches which turn away gays and lesbians who seek to marry in their premises. The Hove and Portslade MP has in turn been criticised by Bishop Kieran Conry of Arundel and Brighton for “over-stepping the mark”. In a letter to David Cameron the south coast MP had said that the proposed Coalition amendment to the 2010 Equality Act to allow religious bodies or individual places of worship to register the controversial ceremonies would remain “unfair” as long as heterosexuals could marry in the churches of their choice. The law must instead be changed to compel churches to register civil partnerships, said Mr Weatherley, whose constituency near Brighton which has one of the highest numbers of gay couples in civil partnerships in the country. He tol

UK Minister wants to close down church who refuse to marry gays

Conservative MP Mike Weatherley is concerned about a matter of equality, and has written a letter to the Prime Minister to ask the Government to prohibit those churches which refuse to perform 'gay marriages' from performing marriages. His Grace was going to say 'heterosexual marriages', but that would be a tautologous. His Grace is pleased (kind of) to reproduce the letter:  The Rt Hon David Cameron MP – Prime Minister 10 Downing Street London SW1A 2AA 21st August 2011 RE: SAME-SEX UNIONS IN THE UK I write as Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade; a constituency which falls entirely within Brighton & Hove, the city with the most same-sex households in the UK. Like many of my constituents, I am becoming increasingly concerned about the inequality which exists between the unions of same-sex couples and those of opposite-sex couples in this country. As you are acutely aware, the Civil Partnership Act 2004 resulted in the introduction of Civi
