Homosexual Activism just another bully platform

Image
August 12, 2013 ( The Public Discourse )  - On June 19, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan ruled in favor of a high school student named Daniel Glowacki, who had charged that his high school teacher, Jay McDowell, had violated his constitutional right to freedom of speech. He was granted one dollar in compensation. The court’s verdict, in vulgar terms, was that the pig had the right to say what he said. The facts, according to the court’s judgment, are these. On October 20, 2011, the Gay Straight Alliance at Howell High School planned to take part in a national “campaign aimed at raising awareness of the bullying of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered youth.” The court acknowledges that the day is also called “ Spirit Day ,” which, the plaintiffs contended, is so-called to foster acceptance in the public schools of the homosexual lifestyle. The Gay Straight Alliance made up flyers to be posted all around the school, urging students to wear purple

New study: TV increased U.S. support for immoral homosexual marriage

LOS ANGELES , April 18, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – When Vice President Joe Biden announced his support for same-sex “marriage” in 2012, he  credited "Will and Grace,"  a 1990s sitcom about a gay man and his female roommate, with making homosexuality – and gay “marriage” – palatable to the average American. Commentators  mocked  the vice president at the time, but researchers with Ipsos MediaCT, a global market research company, have just released a  study  that may prove him right. According to the report, 18 percent of Americans between the ages of 13 and 64 said that television has directly contributed to their increasing support for same-sex “marriage.” That’s nearly double the number (10 percent) who reported television had increased their opposition to marriage redefinition. “Based on this data, I think we can conclude that TV has, at least in part, moved the needle of public opinion to see same-sex marriage in a positive way,” Ben Spergel, Senior Vic

J.C. Penney fires CEO after plummeting sales following gay ad campaign

April 11, 2013 ( Family Research Council ) - Plenty of companies have argued that natural marriage is " bad for business "--but they'll have a tough time persuading  J.C. Penney . After a series of radical decisions, the retailer is struggling to survive a 25 percent drop in sales. It started in 2011 when the company hired Ellen DeGeneres , a vocal proponent of same-sex "marriage" as its spokesperson. The choice drew fire from organizations like the American Family Association (AFA) because it was a departure from the store's longstanding values. When AFA's  One Million Moms  complained, J.C. Penney's new CEO, Ron Johnson , stubbornly dug in his heels. Then, on Mothers' Day , the company shocked customers with a blatant endorsement of homosexuality in an ad that featured two moms--followed by a  two-dads ad for Fathers' Day . Coupled with an overhaul of the stores' pricing system, the stock never recovered. Now, months

Media distort the news in favor of immoral homosexual 'marriage'

Image
April 1, 2013 ( N ewsbusters.org ) – As thousands trekked across the country this week to protest at the Supreme Court while justices heard arguments on Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), the media did the same by voicing their own opinions. From the networks to online news sites, so-called neutral journalists twisted coverage in support of gay marriage. CBS led the network pack and  focused a one-sided light  on Tuesday evening reports, the night of the first Supreme Court arguments. CBS went personal March 26 as reporter John Blackstone, during “Evening News,” highlighted a story of lesbian couple Torri and Sunnie. The program showed  at least 12 different video  or photo clips of gay weddings and quoted two gay marriage advocates – with one traditional marriage supporter. Tuesday morning  wasn’t much better , with four voices advocating for gay marriage, and one counter. Wednesday’s “This Morning”  devoted over three minutes  to David Boies , an attor

Hollywood: Driving the Homosexual Agenda for 40 Years

Ellen DeGeneres in 2009. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Hollywood celebrities exuberantly celebrated President Obama’s recent declaration of support for gay marriage. But Hollywood did not have to come out of the closet and support homosexuality – it has long used its influence to purposely swing public opinion in favor of homosexuality. For several decades, Hollywood has shown its overt support for homosexuality. Brokeback Mountain was nominated for Best Picture for its unabashedly sympathetic portrayal of a doomed gay relationship. Newt Gingrich ’s half-sister officiated at a gay wedding on “Friends” in the 1990s. More recently, late night talk show host Conan O’Brian officiated at an actual gay wedding. Homosexual advocacy on television first began to manifest itself in the 1970’s. In 1972, made for TV movie “That Certain Summer” featured Hal Holbrook and Martin Sheen as a gay couple. In 1973, “An American Family” was the first television show to feature an openly gay charac

The Thomas More Law Center (TMLC) announced in a press release Thursday that they had filed a lawsuit on behalf of Daniel Glowacki, a junior at Howell High School at the time of the incident, against the school and his economics teacher Johnson McDowell. The incident occurred on October 20, 2010, the day that Daniel’s Economics class teacher, Jay McDowell, wore a purple “Tyler’s Army” t-shirt, as part of a national campaign promoted by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation to highlight “bullying” of homosexuals. The lawyers say McDowell spent the entire class promoting the anti-gay bullying agenda. According to TMLC, which is representing the student in court, Glowacki was specifically asked by McDowell about his feelings o
