Adult children of gay parents testify against same-sex ‘marriage’ at 5th Circuit

Image
As the 5 th  Circuit Court of Appeals considers whether to strike down laws in three states banning same-sex “ marriage ,” four adult children of homosexual parents have filed court briefings arguing that government-sanctioned homosexual unions could lead to disaster for thousands of kids. Katy Faust, Dawn Stefanowicz, B.N. Klein, and Robert Oscar Lopez, who were all raised by homosexual parents, each submitted briefs to the 5 th  Circuit opposing the legalization of same-sex “marriage.”  Recounting childhood memories of households made deeply dysfunctional by their parents’ sexual appetites and the radical subculture that went along with their “gay” identities, all four argued that redefining marriage to include homosexual couples will likely lead to the exploitation and abuse of countless children for political and personal gain. “I grew up with a parent and her partner[s] in an atmosphere in which gay ideology was used as a tool of repression, retribution and abuse,”  wrote

Fox News’ Bret Baier, actor Gary Sinise cancel on Church group after gay gripes

Image
FOX News Channel 's chief political anchor, Bret Baier , has shown himself to have a thinner skin than might be guessed from his on-air persona.  Baier has caved in to pressure from the homosexual activist group ‘Good as You’ to back out of a speaking engagement at a mainstream Catholic conference.  Also backing out for the same reason was Hollywood actor Gary Sinise of  Forrest Gump  and  CSI: NY  fame. The gay activist complaint is a repeat of last year when actor Bob Newhart was successfully bullied into backing out of his speaking engagement at the Legatus Summit. Legatus, which was begun by Domino’s Pizza founder Tom Monaghan in 1987 to network Catholic business leaders, is faithful to the Church’s Magisterium and therefore upholds the Church’s teachings on all moral matters including homosexuality. The Catechism of the Catholic Church sees all people regardless of their sexual desires as children of God and deserving of respect.  The Church however teaches that t

Whatcott wins $30,000 defamation suit against CBC after report suggested he wants to ‘kill homosexuals’

Bill Whatcott , Saskatchewan ’s irrepressible crusader against homosexuality, has won his second court battle within the month as Judge R.W. Elson ordered the CBC to pay him $30,000 for defamation. In late December Whatcott and his American counterpart, Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality , were both acquitted of trespass charges for handing out flyers at the University of Regina . Late last week he won $30,000 from the CBC, Canada ’s public broadcaster, for a TV news show that said he wanted to kill homosexuals. “I thought they would get off, or that I would only get $1. Their lawyer was that good,” Whatcott told LifeSiteNews via cell phone, as he distributed more flyers (and what he calls “Christian condoms”) at the University of Regina on Monday. The CBC story aired on Oct. 12, 2011, as part of its coverage of Whatcott’s celebrated dispute with the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission that had just been heard by the Supreme Court of Canada . The comm

Canadian border officials ban Russian film opposing homosexual agenda

Sodom , a hard-hitting, Russian-made documentary film claiming to expose a homosexual campaign to undermine Western morals, has been banned by Canada’s Border Services Agency. American anti-homosexuality crusader Peter LaBarbera has just been notified personally of the decision by the CBSA, formerly Canada Customs , because his copy of the 2014, hour-long film was seized as he crossed the border this spring. “It’s absurd for a democracy like Canada,” said LaBarbera, who is the founder and president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality . “I don’t endorse everything in this film. But I hate to see a great nation like Canada suppressing debate in the name of political correctness. It weakens a nation, it debilitates it. In a free society people evaluate information themselves. They don’t give the responsibility to a bureaucrat.” LifeSiteNews contacted Canada’s Border Services Agency for an explanation of the decision, but did not hear back by press time. Dr. Charles McVe

UK Prime Minister: ‘Redefining marriage is one of my proudest moments’

British Prime Minister David Cameron told a town hall meeting near Liverpool on the weekend that making same-sex "marriage" legal in Britain and Wales was one of his "proudest" accomplishments. When asked what he thought were his most significant achievements, he rated improving the UK economy as something he would "treasure," but that passage of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill was his personally proudest moment. “I did get a lot of letters from men who said, because of the changes you made, I have been able to marry the person I love. That was great,” Cameron said, according to a report by homosexual news service Pink News . He said that he has gotten "lots" of invitations to same-sex weddings but has yet to accept any. "I haven’t been to one yet," he said, adding, "I’m sure I will soon.” While Cameron has been unequivocal in his support for homosexualism, his stand has not been without consequence for his polit
