The Dangerous Ideology In Schools Harming Children

Image
Children are some of the most vulnerable members of our society. Unfortunately, we live in an age where it’s acceptable to harm the vulnerable as long as it promotes a popular agenda.  This is exactly what is happening in some American schools. Teachers are being instructed to promote gender confusion and gender dysphoria in students as young as kindergarten. Many five-year-old children can hardly pick a favorite color, and now they’re expected to pick their gender? Four years of lower-elementary teaching experience has taught me that children thrive understructure. They feel safe and are able to succeed because they understand their expectations.  But by telling children that their biological sex isn’t their true gender, adults are creating a fog of confusion and anxiety. One of the most concrete truths in these children’s lives has become fluid, and their burden of self-discovery has grown even heavier. Adults are removing the structure and safety of what they knew to be true, yet ex

LGBT ideology forced into school curriculums

Beginning in 2020, more states will now include lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) history in their public school curriculums.   Illinois just joined California, New Jersey, and Colorado in mandating the teaching of LGBT History, while the Department of Education in Maryland has just signed on to include gays, lesbians and transgenders who are viewed as historically underrepresented in lesson plans.   The Illinois legislation which was signed into law by Democratic Governor J. B. Pritzker takes effect next year, and mandates that history classes “include a study of the roles and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in the history of this country and this State.”   Known as HB 246, the measure passed by a comfortable 60-42 margin back in March, largely along party lines, with three Democrats joining Republicans in opposition to the proposed legislation. No Republicans voted in favor of the bill. Textbooks purchased with state funding mu

Mandate for LGBT school lessons ‘Indoctrination, not history’

The Illinois House has passed a controversial bill requiring public school history textbooks to include “the roles and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in the history of this country and this state.”   Known as HB 246, the measure passed by a comfortable 60-42 margin, largely along party lines, with three Democrats joining Republicans in opposition to the proposed legislation. No Republicans voted in favor of the bill. The bill aims to amend the state’s textbook block grant program, mandating the purchase of textbooks that highlight the contributions of all groups protected under the Illinois Human Rights Act.      “There is nothing that prevents the teaching of the lives of historical figures including if they were known to have been homosexuals,” said Rep. Darren Bailey. “But forcing that information on five-year-olds and elementary school children is more of an effort of indoctrination than of learning history about individuals who accomplish

Muslims force pro-LGBT lessons to shut down after pulling hundreds of kids from UK school

Progressives in the United Kingdom are learning the first of what may be a series of uncomfortable lessons: Not all of the immigrants they champion share their values.  In Birmingham, The Guardian reported this week, a programme to teach British primary school children about LGBT issues at Parkfield community school was shut down after 600 students were withdrawn by parents angry that their children were being “brainwashed” by lessons that were undermining their parental rights and “aggressively promoting homosexuality.”  The vast majority of the parents were Muslim, although the school refused to confirm the precise number of children that were pulled. Assistant Head Andrew Moffat, who is in a gay civil partnership, was accused by parents of attempting to promote his own personal views on LGBT issues to children via the “No Outsiders” programme.  FOUR-YEAR-OLD KIDS INDOCTRINATED IN LGBT SIN Children between the ages of four and eleven were read books such as Mommy, M

Muslims halt pro-gay curriculum in UK school by gay Headmaster

LGBTQ lessons have been halted at the Parkfield Community School in Birmingham, England, following weeks of controversy and backlash from angry Muslim parents. The move came after 600 students, about 80% of the school population, were reportedly yanked out of class by furious Muslim parents who objected to having LGBTQ ideology “aggressively” taught to primary school children. The "No Outsiders" curriculum has been suspended until after Easter at the school while consultations with parents continue. Pupils were taken from class, according to Alum Rock Community Forum , because the curriculum was “undermining of parental rights and aggressively promoting homosexuality.” Parents have objected especially to the gender identity portion of the curriculum. The trustee board of Excelsior Multi Academy Trust, which operates the school, confirmed in a letter that LGBTQ lessons would be halted until the end of April. The letter called on parents to ask children about "No Outsid

How pro-family can stand up to govts imposing LGBT indoctrination

One of the most important issues we have to resolve at this time is the attempt by the liberal left "progressive" provincial governments to usurp the role of parents. They are doing so by trying to instill in our children, by way of the education system, the values of the government, thus eradicating the values of parents.  That is, they are trying to intellectually condition vulnerable children not only for the present but also for the duration of their lives, by indoctrinating them to accept "progressive values".  This indoctrination separates the children from their own family values, such as cultural and religious beliefs . Such changes will be to the advantage to these governments in later years when these children, as adults, serve as agents of change for the government's future "progressive" policies by diminishing opposition to them. Each child is unique. They reflect their widely differing backgrounds. They are also the future of a

ACT proposal to remove religious freedom provisions for schools - gay ideology

Image
Author Neil Foster Reports in the press note that that the ACT Government has announced its intention to “ close a loophole ” in discrimination laws by removing the capacity of religious schools to apply their religious beliefs in staffing decisions. The law is referred to is not a “loophole”, it is part of the fundamental architecture of discrimination law around Australia, with rare exceptions, and removing these provisions would not be a good idea. Background The context of the proposals is the recent debate in Federal Parliament about the leaked recommendations of the Ruddock Report (for comment here see  here  and succeeding blog posts linked at the bottom of this one.) In particular, concern has been expressed that religious schools may apply their faith-based moral framework (which in many cases includes the view that homosexual activity is not part of God’s purposes for humanity) in dealing with students and staff at the school. The Federal Government has indicated
