One of the perverse things about today’s progressives is not simply that they are so often wrong, but that they often mean precisely the opposite of what they are saying but do not realize it. The promoters of “diversity” and “tolerance,” for example, make the witch-burners look positively relaxed as they ruthlessly hunt heretics and hound them from their jobs. Diversity is acceptable only within the narrowest of lanes — you can, for example, support the LGBTQIA2S agenda, but nobody will get too fussed if you just say you support the LGBTQ agenda, because it is presumed that you mean the same thing. Any indication that you do not support whatever the newest thing is, however, will not be tolerated. Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government is giving $1 million each to Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver homosexual Pride Parades in a bid to cash in on the lucrative “LGBTQ2” sodomy tourism industry and burnish Canada’s reputation as a sodomy-friendly destination. Tourism minister Mélanie Joly and finance minister Bill Morneau announced the fund in Toronto Tuesday when unveiling a Liberal tourism strategy that puts “investments in LGBTQ2 tourism” as a top priority. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said at a press conference prior to Montreal’s Pride parade earlier this month that it's not enough to just be tolerant of homosexuality, Canadians must now “accept” homosexuality. Question: Aren't Christians being selective with Old Testament law when they appeal to it with respect to homosexuality, while ignoring Old Testament commands about clothing, food, etc.? In some sense, yes, because we are singling out the  moral law , which is exactly what the New Testament trains us to do. The book of Acts distinctly separates the ceremonial and liturgical laws from the moral law. The Lord told Peter not to distinguish between clean and unclean animals any longer (Acts 10:9-16). At the same time, the Jerusalem Council clearly confirmed the continuation of the moral law ( Acts 15 ). Was he against it, before he was for it? Is he really against it now? The ordeal experienced last week by popular author Eugene Peterson was agonizing to observe, largely self-inflicted, and virtually inevitable. You should pay close attention to it, for you might very well be next. The ordeal began with Peterson, one of the most influential authors among evangelical pastors , responding to two straightforward questions about homosexuality and same-sex marriage. Jonathan Merritt of Religion News Service referenced homosexuality and same-sex marriage and then asked Peterson if his view on the morality of same-sex relationships had changed. Peterson was pastor of Christ Our King Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, Maryland for 29 years, before retiring in 1991. In his answer, however, Peterson said, “I haven’t had a lot of experience with it.” An earlier congregation where he served as associate pastor, included “several women who were lesbians,” but didn’t “make a big deal about it.”

The Perth man who put a lemon meringue pie in the face of Qantas chief CEO homosexual Alan Joyce in protest against Joyce's company promotion of  immoral homosexual marriage has been fined $3,600.  But have any homosexuals zealots who have attacked ACL conferences, buildings been charged?  This fine was instigated by homosexual Joyce to cover his embarrassment. Tony Overheu, 67, was at a business breakfast at a city hotel in May and placed the pie in Mr Joyce's face while he was on stage addressing a crowd of about 500 people.  Many who oppose Joyce's intentionally and blantantly promotion of homosexuality (through QANTAS staff and workers and other companies) - felt Joyce needed to know not everybody agrees with his own promoted sin of homosexuality and pushing it onto the Australian public through other companies. The Revisionist Answer The liberating ethic of love demands that a local church accept gays and allow them to participate fully in membership, including leadership. The Bible does not concern itself with the modern idea of mutually committed relationships of people who have been gay from birth. The Bible does not condemn such. It is obvious, then, that churches should ordain gay people for ministry. The Biblical Answer Ample evidence exists that the ancients knew and sometimes practiced gay relationships and mutuality. Paul’s discussion in Romans 1 , 1 Corinthians 6:9 –11, and 1 Timothy 1:8–10 must include this understanding of homosexual relationships. Rev. Paul Raushenbush says:  By accepting the case of the Colorado baker who refused to bake a cake for a homosexual couple, the Supreme Court is opening up the possibility that an arbitrary religious belief might be used to sanction discrimination and refusal of service to a citizen. Religious freedom is a foundational principle of our country, something we should all hold sacred. However, when one person’s beliefs turn into actions that trample on the dignity of another, freedom of religion morphs into deified discrimination.  Unfortunately, Raushenbush doesn't believe the Bible that homosexuality is not a sin but a dignified lifestyle choice. His words, mean if Jesus were to condemn a sinner in effect Jesus is - 'trampling the dignity of another.' Even for a liberal, the argument is weak. Canada ’s Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau marched with his wife and two children in Toronto’s Pride Parade on Sunday, accompanied by Ontario ’s openly lesbian Premier Kathleen Wynne .  Prior to the parade Trudeau, who calls himself Catholic, wished Muslims a “Pride Mubarak ," referring to a Muslim religious holiday coinciding with the day of the parade in which Muslims celebrate the end of the holy month of fasting.  “This [Pride Parade] is all about including people, which is why today on Eid al-Fitr I’m happy to wish a ‘Pride Mubarak’ [Muslim for ‘Blessed Pride’] to everyone as well who is celebrating of the Muslim faith,” said Trudeau.  “It’s all about how we celebrate the multiple layers of identities that make Canada extraordinary and strong. Two days ago, we posted a story about a  shocking video  showing a little girl waving a rainbow flag in front of a nearly nude male dancer during a “gay pride” celebration.   The video was too offensive, so the “dancer” was blurred out . But it was important in order to draw attention to the super- sexualization of children through exposure to “ Gay Pride ” events, which often display full or partial nudity and provocative simulated sex or dance.   Bravo, YouTube ! In a move that was as stunning as the story, YouTube quickly removed the video and issued a warning, saying “YouTube isn’t the place for nudity or sexually provocative content. Sexual content involving minors is particularly sensitive. YouTube prohibits uploading, commenting, or engaging in any type of activity that sexualizes minors.” The warning went further, saying “Your video, ‘ Girl watches man’s vulgar dance at Gay Pride Parade ’ was flagged for review ... we’ve determined that it violates our guidel
