Florida Student with Bagpipes disregards freedom of speech - campus preacher
When Brice Ehmig encountered a preacher speaking about the sinfulness of homosexuality on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University, she decided to diminish his right to freedom of speech and play bagpipes fight back with music . Ehmig, who is in her fourth year at the university, began drowning out the preacher’s Christian remarks by playing “Amazing Grace." The preacher, who was wearing a “Jesus Saves From Hell” T-shirt at the time of the Aug. 19 incident, appeared undisturbed by Ehmig’s presence, but continued his solid biblical preaching, which included comparing being gay to the greatest sin in scripture.
