Boris Johnson imposes his immoral worldview on UK embassies flying gay pride rainbow flag

Image
The new foreign secretary, Boris Johnson , has imposed his own immoral homosexual view onto the Brisitsh - by lifting a ban on UK embassies and high commissions flying the rainbow flag during gay pride events. In one of his first policy shifts since coming to office, Johnson overturned the decision of predecessor, Philip Hammond, who correctly insisted that only the Union flag, the EU’s blue-and-gold flag and the flags of the nations and overseas territories of the United Kingdom could be flown from Foreign Office buildings. The decision on whether and when to raise the gay pride banner will be for individual ambassadors and high commissioners, taking into  ACCOUNT local conditions. They should ignore this LGBT agenda. A Foreign Office spokesman saying that the rainbow flag could be flown to mark events such as the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) on 17 May as well as local pride celebrations. While still foreign secretary, Hammond last mont

The U.S. bishops just responded to Biden celebrating that gay ‘wedding’

Image
In   a blog post   signed by U.S. Conference of Bishop Executive members Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, Bishop Richard J. Malone and Archbishop Thomas G. Wenski, the U.S. bishops have made a weak response to Vice President Joe Biden, who recently publicly rejoiced after   having officiated   at a homosexual ‘wedding’.  The U.S. bishops did not even name Biden in the post nor announce that he would no longer be given Holy Communion. The strongest statement in the release said: “When a prominent Catholic politician publicly and voluntarily officiates at a ceremony to solemnize the relationship of two people of the same-sex, confusion arises regarding Catholic teaching on marriage and the corresponding moral obligations of Catholics. What we see is a counter witness, instead of a faithful one founded in the truth. “ The statement concluded asking for prayers for “Catholic leaders in public life, that they may fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to them with grace and courage

Obama twisted Civil Rights Act to promote gay agenda: appeals court

Image
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has ruled that President Obama's redefinition of Title VII anti-discrimination law to include homosexuals and transgender persons is not actual or enforceable. The court ruled that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act does not address workplace discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. Hively v. Ivy Tech Community College   dealt with an adjunct professor at the school, Kimberly Hively, who claimed that the non-renewal of her teaching contract was because she was openly living as a lesbian.  Hively sued ITCC, but her   case   was dismissed in court because “Title VII does not apply to claims of sexual orientation discrimination, and therefore Hively has made a claim for which there is no legal remedy.” Hively appealed, but again, the appellate court ruled that Title VII does not deal with sexual orientation. The judges expressed sympathy for gay people losing their jobs, but the court decided to legally interpret

Immoral LGBT activists to set up ‘safe space’ at World Youth Day

LGBT activists in Poland will advocate their issues in a shadow outreach at this year’s World Youth Day. Heads of the Warsaw-based “Faith And Rainbow LGBT” group hope to reach thousands of gay, lesbian and transgender individuals at the Catholic Church’s triennial international event in Krakow, and to do so they have set up an “ LGBT Pilgrims Haven .” "We want to create a space in which they will feel safe and where they will find answers to issues facing them," said Misza Czerniak, one of the organizers. The “LGBT Pilgrims Haven” will take place in a cafe in Krakow's Kazimierz Jewish quarter. World Youth Day runs July 25-31 and is   expected to draw   about two million people to the city. This year’s theme is "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" from Matthew 5:7, the fifth of the eight Beatitudes imparted by Christ in the Sermon on the Mount. World Youth Day includes Masses, catechetical sessions, and youth festivals. Pope Fra

Obama Transgender Directive Draws Lawsuits From More States

Image
States were warned that they could lose federal funding if they required transgender people to use bathrooms corresponding to their biological sex. Ten states including Nebraska, Michigan and Ohio sued the Obama administration on Friday, saying the federal government does not have the power to tell states that transgender people must be allowed to use public bathrooms that conform with their gender identity. The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, takes issue with a May 13 letter sent by the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Education to states warning them that they could lose federal funding if they required transgender people to use bathrooms corresponding to their biological sex. The lawsuit says the Obama administration’s move was an attempt to rewrite federal civil rights laws that do not apply to transgender people. It was filed by the attorneys general of the 10 states, which also include Arkansas, Kansas, Montana, North Dakota

A letter to a gay Christian?

Image
Dear ............., With great interest, I read your “ Open Letter To My Conservative Christian Family: A Response to the Orlando Shooting .” Over the last dozen years, I have done my best to listen to the stories of the LGBT community, especially those who profess faith in Jesus, and just as many of those stories touched me deeply, your open letter did as well. If you don’t mind, I want to recap some of what you wrote for the benefit of those who have not read it, then I’ll share my heart with you. As the son of two pastors, you’re responding to the question that many of us have asked, namely, “Why are we Christians being blamed for the Orlando shooting?” It’s a question I have addressed as well. Your answer is what I have heard from other gay writers, but you explain things extremely well, having been raised in the church. You wrote, “I fear that conservative Christians are being lumped in with the homophobic shooter, ISIS and religious radicals because, to the LGBT+ communit

Alabama Chief Justice suspended for upholding natural marriage

Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore was temporarily suspended Friday following a complaint against his defense of Alabama ’s marriage laws from the state’s Judicial Inquiry Commission (JIC). Moore now faces charges in the Alabama Court of the Judiciary , which could remove him from the Court if they find he’s violated the Alabama Judicial Canons of Ethics or engaged in misconduct.  The charges focus on Moore’s January 2016 Administrative Order, in which he wrote that state probate judges should “not…issue any marriage license contrary to the Alabama Sanctity of Marriage Amendment or the Alabama Marriage Protection Act.”  Moore instructed judges to not act contrary to state laws defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman until the Supreme Court rules on the effects of its landmark same-sex “marriage” ruling   Obergefell v. Hodges   on the Alabama Supreme Court’s existing orders upholding the state’s marriage laws. Most probate judges in Alabama i

Australia: Archbishop escapes further trial but Anti-Discrimination laws still stop free speech

Image
One of Australia's leading Christian groups has today spoken out over news that a complaint against Hobart’s Catholic Archbishop Julian Porteous and the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference has been dropped. The Australian Christian Lobby welcomed news of the complaint being dropped by the complainant, Greens candidate Martine Delaney. However, Australian Christian Lobby Managing Director Lyle Shelton said it was a travesty of justice that Tasmania’s Anti-Discrimination Commissioner believed the Archbishop had a case to answer simply for distributing the Catholic Church marriage booklet “Don’t Mess with Marriage.” “What Archbishop Porteous did was completely reasonable and he should have the right to express a point of view on marriage,” Mr Shelton said. “This was an example of where State-based Human Rights Commissions are often being weaponised by activists against those with different views. “A complaint does not even have to be legally defensible for process to sta

Australian Labor party may force all their party to vote for homosexual marriage

English: Craig Thomson, Member of the Australian House of Representatives for the Australian Labor Party and Dobell. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Further evidence of the intolerance of the leading voices in the same-sex marriage debate will be on display again at this weekend’s Australian Labor Party National Conference in Melbourne . At its last conference in 2011, Labor changed its party policy to support redefining marriage in law. It was a terrible blow to have one of the two major political parties capitulate. However, at that time, Labor made an important concession. Normally conscience votes on both sides of politics are reserved for life or death matters such as abortion or euthanasia. But in this case, after tense backroom negotiations, Labor decided to depart from this political rule of thumb and allow its parliamentarians a conscience vote . Under Labor’s party rules, parliamentarians who vote against party policy are automatically expelled. (The Liberal’s don’t expel

How activists can stop the ‘gay marriage’ steamroller

Image
How can the pro-family movement – pro-family individuals – effectively fight back? Can the homosexual pseudo-marriage steamroller be stopped? Our recent article,  “How the pro-family movement helped spread ‘gay marriage’ across America”  got a lot of attention, with many readers then asking us what they can do. The huge lesson from Maryland – Success and Failure What happened in Maryland in 2011 and 2012 best encapsulates the problem we’re facing. In March 2011 a “gay marriage” bill had just passed the Maryland Senate and was on to the House of Delegates . The Governor promised to sign as soon as it passed. In the House, over half of the members were co-sponsors of the bill. It looked completely hopeless for the pro-family side. But then, possibly the biggest pro-family surge in modern history took place. Suddenly everyone on our side jumped into the fight. Black pastors, white clergy, pro-family activists, Republicans, conservative House members and others all stepped up,
