Australia: LGBT Violent trashing of Senator’s office un-Australian

English: , Liberal Senator for South Australia (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The violent trashing today of Senator Cory Bernardi ’s Adelaide office by protestors supporting the Safe Schools program demonstrates a disturbing lack of tolerance among rainbow activists, according to the Australian Christian Lobby. ACL Managing Director Lyle Shelton said while everyone has a right to express their views on the Safe Schools program no one should resort to violence or bullying . “ Storming the office and intimidating staff with violent action while Senator Bernardi is away in Canberra for Parliament is despicable and cowardly behaviour,” Mr Shelton said. “Senator Bernardi has raised valid concerns about the Safe Schools program and in a civil society these should be allowed to be debated on their merits.“It is ironic that the protestors say that they are against any forms of bullying yet they themselves are resorting to bullying and standover tactics. “Same-sex political activists nee

NFL threatens Atlanta with losing Super Bowl over bill protecting gay ‘marriage’ objectors

The new NFL logo went into use at the 2008 draft. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The National Football League (NFL) says Atlanta could be left out of consideration for hosting a Super Bowl if new legislation is enacted that aims to protect the conscience rights of citizens who oppose same-sex “marriage.” “NFL policies emphasize tolerance and inclusiveness, and prohibit discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other improper standard,” spokesman Brian McCarthy said in a statement. “Whether the laws and regulations of a state and local community are consistent with these policies would be one of many factors NFL owners may use to evaluate potential Super Bowl host sites.” The bill itself combines several pieces of legislation that passed the state legislature last week. It allows pastors to not perform same-sex "marriage" ceremonies and allows religious-based groups to make hiring and retention decisions based upon religious belie

Cardinal Dolan praises ‘unity’ at St. Patrick Parade after inclusion of gay activist groups

Image
Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the Catholic archbishop of New York , has sparked renewed outrage among Catholic faithful by congratulating this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade organizers for preserving the “original intent” of the event,   despite the inclusion   of homosexual groups and the exclusion of pro-life organizations. In an   open letter   published on the archdiocesan website two days before the parade, Dolan writes, “I thank those who love and lead the parade for assuring us all that the original intent of the parade, which has flourished for over two-and-a-half centuries – to celebrate the faith, heritage, culture, and tradition of Ireland – is preserved.” A   CBS News video   showed Dolan in a jovial mood, embracing NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, who joined the march this year after having boycotted it for its refusal to admit homosexual groups. De Blasio also lauded the “unity” he sees in this year’s parade – another apparent reference to the inclusion of gay groups.

Dominican Catholic school bars US ambassador who brings his ‘husband’ on school visits

The signs banning U.S. Ambassador James W. Brewster and his same-sex partner from St. John the Baptist College have gone down, but only, according to the high school’s highly influential principal Father Manuel Ruiz, for Holy Week. “The entry of the United States ambassador is not allowed in this Institute San Juan Bautista,” said all three signs, the first of which appeared above the Santo Domingo private school last Monday. The controversy over the signs is just the latest expression of the outrage felt by Catholic and Evangelical Protestant leaders at what they see as Brewster’s promotion of the homosexual agenda since being sworn in as ambassador in 2013, the same day the LGBT activist “married” his long time companion Bob J. Satawake. “He is violating our law every time he visits a school with his husband." “He is violating our law every time he visits a school with his husband,” Fidel Lorenzo, leader of the 9,000-church Dominican Council of Evangelical Unity told L

Australia: Safe schools: the real school yard bullies

It's a sorry state of affairs when a vocal minority starts to dictate to even members of that very minority what they can and cannot think. Sadly, that's exactly the place we have now reached in Australia around matters of gender and sexuality. The current discussion about the so-called 'safe schools' program has been laughable with advocates of the program showing a complete lack of 'tolerance' and full aggression to anyone who doesn't share their bizarre world view . Leaders cave into LGBT lies and agenda

Betrayal: In Georgia, turncoat Republican Governor Nathan Deal just vetoed an extremely modest bill to protect pastors and churches from having to participate in same-sex 'weddings' and give some minor protection to religious schools from having to hire someone who openly opposes their religious beliefs. Deal ignored dozens of examples of discrimination against people of faith that have occurred across the country and instead adopted the approach advocated by LGBT extremists that any accommodation of religious objections to gay 'marriage' amounts to "discrimination" against gays and lesbians. Deal and the extremists demand that every single person, religious organization and small business in Georgia agree to personally participate in a same-sex 'wedding' ceremony if asked, regardless of their deeply-held religious views. Backlash: It is now clear that LGBT extremists and the left will accept absolutely no dissent from the orthodoxy they wish to i

Australia: Qld Government hiding safe schools running homosexual indoctrination program

Image
The Australian Christian Lobby QLD Director Wendy Francis said it was time the QLD Government comes clean and releases the names of the schools that have signed up to the controversial so-called Safe Schools program, particularly as concerns with the program linger. “It is not good enough for the QLD Government to keep secret from parents the names of the schools that are using the Safe Schools Coalition resources,” Ms Francis said. “It is hard for Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Education Minister Kate Jones to defend their position when the Federal Government has called for greater transparency in the program and there remains deep concerns with the remaining gender ideology. “It is disturbing that the Opposition Party has been kept in the dark about the full extent of the program’s use in QLD.” Last month the ACL resorted to lodging a freedom of information request in order to obtain the names of the schools involved. The ACL in QLD is running a petition against the S

Australia: Victoria Premier promotes homosexual indoctrination in primary schools

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Controversial Safe Schools Coalition Program. ACL Victorian Director Dan Flynn said Premier Daniel Andrews and Education Minister and Deputy Premier James Merlino were ignoring the concerns of parents and potentially setting kids off on harmful pathways by forcing all high school children to be taught radical gender theory. “Telling concerned parents they are bigots and homophobes if they have concerns about Safe Schools is arrogant in the extreme and completely disrespects parents’ prime responsibility for the education and well-being of their children.” Mr Flynn said Mr Andrews should heed the advice of more moderate voices in the ALP such as Federal Labor Shadow Minister , Anthony Albanese , who on ABC’s Lateline said it was acceptable to implement ‘sensible changes’. “The Safe Schools content is so extreme one

I always thought I was born gay. Today, I’m a happily married dad.

Image
I grew up believing myself to have been born gay having always, and only, had the most powerful, all-consuming, erotic attraction towards my own sex. Teenage years were hell. I often thought of suicide, occasionally self-harmed and had a growing problem with alcohol. I lived in a rural mining community in the north of England believing I would never be accepted among my own as a gay man , particularly as I watched a male cousin some ten years older than me – now deceased from a drug overdose – struggle to find his place as a gay man in the late 70s and early 80s among a society dominated by working men’s clubs. In floods of tears I came out to my parents when 17 years old. Dad and Mum were amazing. They said they had known I was gay and affirmed their unconditional love for me. My mates in high school also told me they had known I was gay and not only honoured me for coming out but affirmed me in what they too believed to be my true sexual orientation. My deepest fears rapi
