Canadian Olympic Committee teams up with gay activists to push homosexual sin in schools

Egale Canada (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) On Tuesday the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC)  announced  plans to partner with two leading homosexual advocacy groups to promote the homosexual agenda among current Olympic athletes, and Olympic hopefuls in Canadian schools . The COC signed an agreement with You Can Play and Egale Canada in order to "foster LGBTQ inclusivity in national sport" by creating homosexuality-focused "resources" to be incorporated into the Canadian Olympic School Program (COSP), which will focus its efforts on students from grades six to eight. The initiative will also create a new "OneTeam Athlete Ambassador" program, which will promote visits to schools across the country by homosexuality-endorsing athletes. The program's goal is to "establish formal relationships with 25 school boards nationally and connect with 1 million students by the end of 2016." “What started as maybe a video, or a little help with

Pro-family group blasts Vancouver city council for tax-funded gay activist trip to Sochi Olympics

VANCOUVER, February 6, 2014  – REAL Women of Canada has blasted the Vancouver City Council for using taxpayers' money to send the city's deputy mayor to the Sochi Winter Olympics to lobby for "gay rights." "It is unacceptable that the Vancouver City Council has forced the taxpayers to fund an expensive ($100,000 plus) junket for veteran gay activist Vancouver city councillor Tim Stevenson to lobby the International Olympic Committee in Russia. His objective is to impose what he calls Canada's ‘social revolution’ on the rest of the world," said Gwendolyn Landolt, National Vice-President of REAL Women of Canada, in the statement. Vancouver Deputy Mayor Tim Stevenson She explained that homosexual special interest groups want “sexual orientation” explicitly included in the IOC Charter. "But the Charter already recognizes that 'Every individual must have the possibility of practicing sport, without discrimination of any kind, in the

Vancouver taxpayers foot $100k+ bill to send immoral homosexual gay city councillor to lobby IOC in Sochi?

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, January 30, 2014 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – A number of Vancouver taxpayers are furious that they are being forced to foot the bill for a homosexual activist who is a city councillor to travel to Sochi not for the Olympics, but to lobby the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to include sexual orientation in its charter. “We’re not there for the Olympics,” Councillor and Deputy Mayor Tim Stevenson  told  the  Globe and Mail  on Tuesday, a day after his departure. “In fact, the Olympic Games open on the 7th and we come back on the 9th. I want the IOC to have a constitutional change in their charter so that sexual orientation is included in their charter.” Vancouver Deputy Mayor Tim Stevenson is in Sochi lobbying the IOC to include "sexual orientation" in its charter. Stevenson, an ordained minister in the pro-homosexual United Church of Canada (UCC) who is married to UCC gay minister Gary Paterson, will meet with representatives of the IOC,

Putin to homosexuals: Come to Olympics but ‘leave children in peace’

KRASNAYA POLYANA , Russia , January 20, 2014 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that homosexual people are welcome to attend the Sochi Olympics and can "feel safe and free" in Russia during the winter games, but warned them to “leave children in peace.” Homosexuality itself is not a crime in Russia, so gay people can “feel calm, at ease, but leave children in peace, please,” Putin said at a meeting with Olympic volunteers in the mountain village of Krasnaya Polyana, the base outside Sochi for Olympic snow sports, according to  RIA Novosti . "We don't outlaw anything and don't nab anyone. Our law prescribes no responsibility for these kinds of relationships unlike laws in some other countries do,” he said. But he did emphasize that the law bans homosexual propaganda targeting minors. Putin signed that bill into law last June, forbidding the promotion of homosexuality and other forms of “nontraditional sexual

Image via Wikipedia I am frequently asked how the legalization of same-sex marriage will have any impact on our culture. It's a good question, and this week I want to share just two recent examples of what we must expect as the effort to redefine marriage relentlessly continues. Last month, the U.S. Olympic Committee named Peter Vidmar , a former gold medalist in men's gymnastics, as its "chief of mission" for the 2012 London Olympics . In this honored position, Vidmar would interact with other countries and the International Olympic Committee to ensure that our country's participation would come off without a hitch. But almost immediately he came under public attack by proponents of same-sex marriage, who called his selection "disgraceful." What was this gold medal recipient's offense? It turns out that, acting upon his religious convictions about marriage, Vidmar donated money to the proponents of California's 2008 marriage amendment, P
