Episcopal Church supports and promotes the sin of homosexuality in marriage

The Episcopal Church (TEC) is removing the terms husband, wife, and procreation from its marriage service in favour of creating a more modern, LGBT compliant service. The terms will be replaced with gender-neutral pronouns such as two people or spouse. The task force proposed several resolutions regarding same-sex marriage and requested commentary from other Church leaders about the matter. The question posed to other churches; “From your perspective and specific setting, what has been the impact of the Episcopal Church’s authorization and use of liturgical rites for same-sex marriage and the blessing of the same-sex unions on “the-Church?” Dating as far back as 1976, the Episcopal Church has engulfed itself in the controversy surrounding its goal of becoming a radically inclusive church, regardless of Biblical doctrine. “In 2003, the first openly gay bishop was consecrated; in 2009, General Convention resolved that God ’s call is open to all; in 2012, a provisional rite of bles

U.S. Episcopal Church bows to gay pressure, deletes ‘husband and wife’ from marriage liturgy

The Church of England is torn over plans by The Episcopal Church (TEC) in the United States to efface the terms “husband” and “wife” – as well as references to “procreation” – from its marriage liturgy. The change is meant to make the church’s marriage ceremonies more “gay-friendly.” Gay and lesbian Episcopalians have complained that the language of the current liturgy is offensive and exclusionary. The move prompted a critical response from Church of England SecrSecretary-General liam Nye last October, strongly urging the TEC to reconsider. The letter threatened to cut ties with the U.S. church if it adopts the planned gender-neutral, replacing the current wording in its Book of Common Prayer . “The new service removes the phrase ‘the union of husband and wife’ and replaces it with ‘the union of two people,’” according to a report in the U.K. Telegraph . It also “replaces the section which talks about part of God's intention for marriage being ‘for the procreation of childre

Gay Marriages don't even last!

According to  Vicky Gene Robinson , who  retired  as a bishop in 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the liberal  Center for American Progress , "it takes two people to make a marriage and two people to make a divorce ." But Robinson said that despite the legal separation , he "will be forever grateful to [Mark]" for "standing by me through the challenges of the last decade." Bishop Gene Robinson The divorce was the bishop's second – Robinson  was married to a woman for 14 years . Homosexual activists have responded to the news of the high-profile dissolution by saying that homosexual and heterosexual marriages often end in divorce. But they don't know what they are talking about. However, a 2004  Family Research Council  study  showed  that only five percent of homosexual couples in America are still together after 20 years, while nearly 58 percent of heterosexuals were still married 20 years after walking down the aisle. NEW HAMPSHIRE,  – The first openly gay bishop the Episcopal Church , whose election in 2003 helped split the squabbling denomination in two, has announced that he and his homosexual partner of more than a quarter-century are divorcing. They were "married" in 2010 after participating in the state's civil union laws in 2008. According to Vicky Gene Robinson , who  retired  as a bishop in 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the liberal Center for American Progress , "it takes two people to make a marriage and two people to make a divorce." Christians who has same-sex attraction respond to debate on Bible's view towards homosexuality

Christopher Yuan – Placing My Identity in Christ , Not My Sexuality Unlike Matthew Vines, I was not raised in a Christian home and believed homosexual, romantic relationships were not sinful. I became aware of my attractions toward other men when I was nine but hid them until I came out in my early twenties while in graduate school pursuing a doctorate in dentistry. My mother was devastated but through this incident, she became a Christian. Although her initial response was rejection, after coming to Christ she could do nothing other than love her gay son. After many years of running from God and rebelling against my parents, I was incarcerated for drug dealing and received the news that I was HIV+. I found a Bible in the trash can and began reading it. I confided with a prison chaplain who told me that the Bible does not condemn homosexuality, and he gave me a book by gay historian, John Boswell . Like Vines, I too wanted to reconcile faith with sexuality. With that book in one hand

what do Homosexuals want: freedom but marriage

Same sex marriage has become the issue of our time. Michael Kinsley summed the situation nicely: “You may be in favor of raising taxes on the rich, increasing support for the poor, nurturing the planet, and repealing Section 14(b) of the Taft-Hartley Act , but if you don’t support gay marriage, you’re out of the club.” How did this come to pass? There’s no easy answer, which is not surprising. Same sex marriage is the issue because lots of different interests, concerns, and trends converge on it. The first thing to say is that the gay rights movement has been largely an upper middle class project. Thurgood Marshall attended Lincoln University, an all-black college in southeastern Pennsylvania, and then Howard University Law School . Gay activist Larry Kramer went to Yale. Judge Vaughn Walker went to Stanford Law School . I have little doubt that the first gay Supreme Court Justice will be a graduate of either Yale or Harvard Law Schools. There are many reasons why the gay rights
