Some gays want out

Image
Australia - Queensland Labor Government wants to pass restrictive laws that stop gay from getting help. The same Laws are already in place in the U.S. and Europe targets ex-gay people. You want to get out - hard luck nobody will help you! Why Because it is illegal.  GAYS WANTS TO ESCAPE - QLD GOVERNMENT SAYS NO In 2018, Utah joined 18 other states in banning the therapy for children, while the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have also banned the practice. In Europe, currently, the U.K., Malta, and some jurisdictions in Spain have banned the practice for children and adults. A rally was held in October by Pastor James Domen and other former homosexuals, who called on the U.S. Congress not to endorse the so-called “Equality Act” and “Therapeutic Fraud Prevention Act” that would prevent others from seeking to escape LGBT lives. Domen, at the time, “We are being targeted by city, state and the federal governments here in the United States.” GAYS WANTS TO ESCAPE - QLD GOVER

Loving homosexuals, transgenders means telling them the dangers of LGBT behavior

Left-wing groups, such as Right Wing Watch (RWW) and The Slowly Boiled Frog (TSBF), are in a dither over Christian groups’ opposition to the California legislature’s ACR-99, a resolution that calls on religious leaders  “to counsel on LGBT matters from a place of love, compassion, and knowledge of the psychological and other harms of conversion therapy.” They accuse Christian groups of overstating — and even outright lying about — the force of the resolution. Specifically, TSBF criticizes an analysis from the Family Policy Council (FPC). TSBF labeled as...something I won’t repeat...the FPC statement that ACR-99 is a new twist on a previous bill that “tried to keep pastors from counseling about biblical sexuality.” Granted, a resolution does not hold the same force as a bill . A resolution is more like a suggestion than a command. But in any legislative body, one of the primary purposes of a non-binding resolution is political persuasion, a simple attempt by a group of member

New York legislature bans transgender ‘discrimination,’ treatment for unwanted gay attraction

Image
In a move various media outlets are hailing as “historic,” the New York legislature passed two bills this week that add “gender identity” to the state’s wide-ranging non-discrimination rules and banning medical professionals from treating minors for unwanted homosexual attraction. The so-called Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act (GENDA) bans “discrimination based on gender identity or expression,” making gender-confused individuals a protected class for the purposes of housing, employment, and public accommodation regulations, and adds “gender identity or expression” to the list of factors that can elevate crimes to the status of “hate crimes.” GENDA passed the State Assembly 100-40 and the State Senate 42-19 on Tuesday morning, the Daily Beast reported , after eight years of the bill passing the Assembly but dying in the Republican-controlled Senate. Last fall’s midterm elections delivered the Senate to Democrats, all 39 of whom co-sponsored the legislation. “We are finally

Christianity - Boy Erased Movie

Image
Today, the film Boy Erased is enjoying great reviews and limited release. If it’s not in a theater near you, within a few weeks you can bet it will be. It’s the true story of a young man who went through what’s commonly called a “conversion therapy” program. He’s 19 years old, has just admitted to his Christian parents that he’s gay, and they insist he gets help. “Help,” they assume, will come through a program to which they’ll send him for weeks of daily group sessions and activities, allegedly designed to cure his homosexuality. You can see where this is going. He eventually bolts from the program, accepts his identity as a gay man, and his parents — at least his mother, anyway — realize their error. Now, as an adult, he speaks against that damaging thing called Conversion Therapy. I’ve read Gerrard Conley’s memoir , which the film is based on, has written a review of it for the Christian Research Journal which will be coming out next month. I’ve not yet seen Boy Erased but plan t

Gays who want out - refused help because LGBT ideology

Brazilian activists and celebrities have condemned a court ruling that approves a "cure" for immoral homosexual people. Waldemar de Carvalho, a federal judge in the capital Brasilia , backed a psychologist who had her licence revoked for offering sound counselling to help homosexuals caught in their destructive lifestyle choices. Rozangela Justino is a Christian who has called homosexuality not only a sin but a sexual disease that leads to poor health outcomes, mental health issues because of the lifestyle choice and not because of stigma. Critics have called the ruling regressive and medically unsound. But critics object to anybody who challenges their chosen lifestyle.  Brazil 's Federal Council of Psychology under pressure from LGBTQ both within and outside - banned psychologists from offering treatments that claim to change people's sexuality in 1999. No help is given to homosexuals wanting to depart this broken sexualized lifestyle. Prominent pop star

Parents have a right to send kids to counselling

Image
Leading "no" campaigner in Australia's same-sex marriage survey, Lyle Shelton , says parents should have the option to send their kids to gay conversion therapy . Shelton, who is the managing director of the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL), said that while he did not think adults should be forced into conversion therapy, it was up to parents as to whether their children should be counselled about same-sex attraction. "I think anyone who wants to seek help for any issue they might be facing in their life should be free to do that," he said. "Should people be forced to go to conversion therapy? No, absolutely not. Now, children — they are under the care and responsibility of their parents, so I think if someone's a minor, it is up to their parents. And I think parental rights should be respected. "There's obviously got to be context and care and compassion in all of these situations, but ultimately children are in the care and the legal res

My Journey Through, and Deliverance From, the Gay Life and Lie

Image
We’re supposed to believe that gender is fluid and shifting, but sexual desires are inborn and fixed. My own story, and what I learned about myself through my conversion back to Christ , gives that the lie. So permit me to talk a bit about myself. I was a lonely child. I thought I was different, but I didn’t want anyone else to know. The harder I tried to hide these strange inner feelings, the more obvious they seemed to become. I presumed that every man in my life rejected me. There was something wrong. I didn’t fit in with the other boys and they sensed this peculiarity. Like a school of piranha, they instinctively honed in on the lop-sided straggler. At recess, these boys circled me and pecked me apart, piece by piece. I recoiled and found solace in fantasy and make-believe. I became obsessed with  The Wizard of Oz . It let me dream of somewhere just “over the rainbow” where even the misfits, like a Cowardly Lion , could find acceptance, peace, and joy. For those brave e
