The Arizona House voted 31-29 Tuesday to pass legislation ensuring that female school athletes will only compete against other females rather than gender-confused boys who claim to be girls. House Bill 2706, the “Save Women's Sports Act,” would allow participants in high-school girls and college women’s athletics to dispute the biological sex of an athlete they suspect of actually being male, who would then have to produce a signed doctor’s statement confirming that genetic testing has identified them as female, CBS 5 reported. In a development that some have decried as a harbinger of the death of women’s sports, biological male Rachel McKinnon won a gold medal this weekend at the Masters Track Cycling World Championships. The Canadian-born McKinnon, who is also a philosophy professor on the faculty at South Carolina’s College of Charleston, first won the women’s sprint 35-39 age bracket last year, and won a gold medal again this weekend while setting a new best time, Cycling Weekly reported. The Trump Department of Education (DOE) has agreed to investigate claims that the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference’s (CIAC’s) allowance of gender-confused males in girls’ athletics constitutes unlawful discrimination, prompting outrage from transgender activists. Declaring that it “would be fundamentally unjust” to “preclude a student from participation on a gender-specific sports team that is consistent with the public gender identity of that student for all other purposes,” the CIAC handbook says the conference “shall defer to the determination of the student and his or her local school regarding gender identification,” without any sort of conditions pertaining to physical transitions or testosterone levels. Having fallen foul of LGBTQ advocates, famed tennis star and openly lesbian Martina Navratilova was officially removed from the advisory board of a major LGBTQ organization because of comments she made about so-called transgenders. Navratilova released an op-ed in  The Sunday Times  on Feb. 17 where she wrote that “transgender” athletes should not be allowed to compete against biologically female athletes. She wrote that it is unfair for men to compete as women because of their innate physical advantage over biologically female athletes. Navratilova is widely considered the best female tennis player in history, having won Wimbledon nine times and 18 Grand Slam titles. Her article, titled “The rules on trans athletes reward cheats and punish the innocent,” started by saying, “Letting men compete as women simply if they change their name and take hormones is unfair — no matter how those athletes may throw their weight around.” This came in response to condemnations from transgen
