Australia: Mark Keeny false logic on homosexual marriage
If costs were the only factor, this plebiscite would be a joke – albeit an expensive one. Today's modelling by one of the world's most respected economic consulting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers, cannot be dismissed as just another lefty gibe. (He is lying as they are supporters of the homosexual LGBT community). Rather it is rigorous and above party politics – the very markers of evidence-based policy Turnbull espouses.
It finds the economic damage to the economy is massive – $525 million in total – with the non-binding ballot itself costing $158 million to conduct and another $66 million to fund the "for" and "against" cases.
But this is the least of it. The real damage will not be measurable in dollars. Quantifying the lasting effects of abuse, the stress of social division, and the mental health issues flowing from discrimination, is impossible.
Turnbull's initial popularity turned substantially on his willingness to project mainstream beliefs. But that was as leader-in-waiting. The sad thing is that as leader-in-residence, he has put unifying his party ahead of unifying the broader community. Amazingly, he's even buried his own values to do it.

RESPONSE:
Keeny takes the position that all homosexual are victims who suffer and will need extensive hours of therapy because they are not satisfied with homosexual unions they demand marriage to be changed for them. If they don't get to change marriage they will fall into a heap.
Keeny assumes ” the lasting effects of abuse, the stress of social division, and the mental health issues flowing from discrimination” only relates to homosexuals.
But based on the US and other nations, organizations like Churches, Christian schools, and other religious organization will be in the firing line of agreesive gay activists demanding jobsm demanding their kids not be taught homsexuality is wrong, abhorent to God.
Christians have been on the firing line of angry LGBT people - the lasting effects of abuse, the stress of social division, and the mental health issues flowing from the LGBT community to these communities are not even mentioned. The author is blinded by the homosexual moral crusaders.
Chueches are now advising Christian parents to commence the withdrawal of their children from State schools to private fee paying faith schools because the state will be forced to indoctrinate homosexuality as normal and healthy plus indoctrinate kids in gender transgender theory.
Keeny states that giving homosexuals the ability to marry will unify the community. It will do exactly the opposite.
