Over 30 Qld schools have opted in to use the resources, including 5 primary schools and 7 P-12 schools, despite our Education Minister assuring the Parliament that the resources would only be made available to secondary schools. I have commenced a Qld Parliament petition – not calling for the program to be scrapped – but for an inquiry into the appropriateness of the materials and for the Qld schools who are using the resources to be made public as in other states, so that parents can know what their children will be being taught.

Thank you very much for your consideration of this. I believe that God would want us to do everything we can to protect the innocence of our children. I am a grandmother of 10 children and I cannot stand by and allow them, or any child, to be used in this fashion for a political agenda. I don’t believe I should have an opinion without being prepared to act on it. True love demands truth. It is the truth that will set people free, and we follow the One who said He is the Truth. Jesus said that we are to speak the truth in LOVE, and that is my daily prayer and desire. It is because of the deep love I have for my own grandchildren and the knowledge that every child is someone’s grandchild that I speak out about this resource. By all means we must oppose all bullying, for all reasons, including of children who identify as LGBTIQ. Children have the right to be safe at school. In parallel to this right, children have a right to their innocence. As adults, we must protect them from bullying, and at the same time, from inappropriate, and at times dangerous, resources. Please support this petition asking for an inquiry.

A Catholic school board in Ontario will vote next week on a motion to fly the rainbow-colored homosexual pride flag at all board-run schools during the month of June. Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) Trustee Brenda Agnew gave notice of her motion titled “supporting our diverse school community” during an April 6 board meeting. Quoting Pope Francis along with LGBT talking points about “equity and inclusion,” the motion calls for the Board’s Director of Education Pat Daly to “direct all HCDSB schools including the Catholic Education Centre to fly the Pride flag during the month of June starting with 2021.” The motion is expected to be voted on by the Board at their next meeting on April 20. DENVER, CO ,  – A Colorado board has ruled that a Christian business owner must make wedding cakes for homosexual "marriages" despite his religious objections. Business owner Jack Phillips came under legal fire in 2012, when he refused to bake a cake for Dave Mullins and Charlie Craig , who had traveled to Massachusetts for a marriage license, and wanted to celebrate in their home state. They sued on the basis of a state law that prevents the application of religious beliefs if one owns a business. The Commission's ruling, which was issued verbally on Friday, orders Phillips to report every three months for the next two years on anti-discrimination training for his staff, and any customers who are refused service at his establishment.
