FATHERLESS GENERATION EXPERIMENT MADE BY A HEALTH DEPARTMENT Queensland Health has updated fertility clinic guidance which previously classified lesbian couples as separate families. In the eyes of many, this remains and should remain as the definition. True families consist of a male and a female. The previous guidelines, which were released earlier this year, had caused disruption to the treatment of several couples. LBBTQ Advocates have welcomed the change as a "real victory". But in the end, these kids end up without a father; not really, a victory at all. The guidance had disrupted the fertility treatments of several lesbian couples, as well as a woman who had to seek government permission to use her own embryos.
