Australia: Ex Union Leader Bill Shorten fails to justify homosexual marriage - faulty logic

Bill Shorten has opened up on how being a stepfather shaped his support for same-sex marriage, saying it taught him no relationship deserves the "moral judgement" of others.

Does that include incest and adultery, or polygamy?
Mr Shorten a former union leader, has campaigned hard on homosexual marriage, warning the plebiscite promised by the Coalition could unleash "hatred and homophobia" and instead promising to introduce homosexual marriage laws to Parliament within 100 days if Labor wins the election without protection to clergy, pastors, Christian business people, ministries, Christian hospitals and all those who support traditional marriage.

Shorten groups all objections by those who support traditional marriage as people who hate. This is directly from the LGBT playbook. Call them bigots, backward, haters, from the 1950's, religious nuts.

Shorten says the "steep learning curve" of raising children helped him realize that "people's relationships don't need opinion polls from other people".

So Mr Shorten should people not express an opinion on polygamy, multiple adultery?

Raising children should have also taught him about experimenting with children's lives, taking risks on gender fluidity and confusion.

"One of the reasons why I support homosexual marriage is that homosexual attracted couples, who love each other and have kids — why should their kids somehow feel invalidated, or that somehow their parents ... are any less valuable or wanted?" he says.

Kids feel invalidated when couples divorce and remarry several times with various step parents. Kids will feel even more vulnerable when they discover that their homosexual male parents are either not biological or are the result of another unknown female surrogate or known female outside the homosexual relationship.

This politician has not read of broken adult children seeking their real biological father through an unknown sperm donation.  This politician is blind to these kids but is quite prepared to push the LGBT extreme agenda onto all Australians.

Because of easy divorce, defacto relationships, single parenting, one night stands Shorten states this describes normality? He upholds sadly, brokenness as the standard by which homosexual marriage can join the ranks.
"This 1950s definition of what constitutes a family, I don't think describes gay couples with kids, I don't think it describes blended families, I don't think it captures single-parent families."

Mr Shorten says no parent needs to be judged — including in the eyes of the government. Unfortunately, the government judges all the times on multiple fronts.

"Either you think being gay is bad, or it's OK. And it can't be OK for some things and not OK for other things," Mr Shorten says. This statement made today doesn't make sense as a majority of people do not believe homosexuality is okay. It is a disordered sinful lifestyle choice condemned by scripture - intrinsicly unhealthy where males use the rectum for intercourse causing damage and ultimately having to use plugs. It is against biology and biological design. It is against evolution. It is an innate infertile relationship pretending to be marriage. It brings confusion to children. It is built on false surveys paid for and limited to those who support homosexuality.

Homosexual actual sex is never shown on TV just kissing, as many would be repulsed by such imagery in the living rooms. Youth are influenced by TV shows 'Will and Grace" various other disordered lifestyle where homosexuals are presented as monogamous and friendly, whereas they often seek multiple partners and allow both each partner to be open to numerous other sexual outside of the relationship. This is clearly demonstrated time and time again.

"The job of government is to help create the right economic circumstances, do the right things in education and healthcare, enable people's lives. It's not to stand in some sort of moral judgement."

Shorten is making a moral judgement by pushing homosexuality without regard to the entire nation. The government makes moral decisions all the time from war, Ru486 abortion pill, courts, to laws, to drugs, to inprisonment, to Safe Schools Coalition, to education, to migration - to payments through Centrelinks for defacto and homosexual couples. These are all moral decisions.
