Benham brothers endorse school walkout to protest sex ed: ‘speak up now’

Pastors, parents, and other concerned Americans have a duty to stop the “perversion” that is being foisted upon innocent children through “sex ed” and “anti-bullying” programs, Jason and David Benham wrote in a new op-ed endorsing today’s “sex education sit-out” protest.
Parents in America, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Americans are joining together in pulling their children from school today to protest radical sex education curricula that teaches young students about anal sex, masturbation, and transgenderism. Supporters urge parents to ensure schools record their children's’ absences as unexcused because the schools lose state and federal money that way.
The Benham brothers, who lost a deal with HGTV over their belief in biblical marriage, endorsed the sex ed sit out in an article for WND.com.
In North Carolina, where the Benham brothers live, children are being taught “‘a sex-positive view of BDSM’ (uh, that means bondage, dominance, sadomasochism, in case you were wondering) and the mechanics of anal and oral sex, how to masturbate and to question your gender,” they wrote. “Have we really gotten to this point, America? Teaching a sex-positive view of BDSM?! To our kids?!”
“The only bullies here are the teachers, administrators and undisclosed organizers (Planned Parenthood, NARAL, [the Human Rights Campaign]) forcing their agenda on the minds of our children,” they continued. “And you can guarantee students who choose to sit out will get some sort of ‘civilized bullying’ in the form of pressure or persecution from the teachers and administrators who are drinking the sexual revolution’s Kool-Aid.”
Homosexual activists are pushing “perversion” on the “developing hearts and minds of our next generation,” David and Jason wrote.
“At some point, we all have to say enough and stand in the gap to speak up,” the Benham brothers urged. “We must utilize every ounce of our influence to stand against this type of moral perversion. How many children need to be deceptively stimulated by these teachings and then hooked into a lifestyle of sexual bondage for the rest of their lives before we speak up?”
“We’re telling you: If people don’t speak up now, our kids will suffer greatly,” they warned. “Pastors, teachers, business owners, moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas – stand up and speak! Sex is a gift from God and is meant to be enjoyed in the safety of marriage. This is the only truth that will protect and preserve the family, the building block of society.”
