Rudd in effect is stating that Jesus, God the Father , the Apostle Paul and a local Brisbane pastor are all wrong on the sin of homosexuality. Kevin Rudd is more in line with Lady Gaga than the Bible The Brisbane based pastor from  New Hope Church  asked the Prime Minister how he could support  gay marriage  "if you call yourself a Christian". The Prime Minister responded by using the Metropolitan Homosexual Community Church (MCC) (Freedom2B Syndey Homosexual group) argument that the Bible presents slavery an acceptable practice.  "Well, mate if I was going to have that view, the Bible also says that slavery is a natural condition," Mr R

Kevin Rudd biblical understanding is wrong on homosexual marriage

English: Kevin Rudd, 26th Prime Minister of Australia. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) In an extraordinary moment on TV , Kevin Rudd gave a staunch, invalid, unbiblical and unscientific defence of same-sex marriage when challenged by a Pastor on Q & A. When confronted by a question from New Hope Church pastor Matt Prater , who quoted the Bible as stating it was clearly wrong in the eyes of God , he said: "People don't choose their sexuality, they are born that way. The idea this is somehow an abnormal condition is wrong." The biblical truth is that EVERYBODY is born as sinners. We are all born that way. To say that is good is to deny sin and the purpose of Christ and the Cross. When the fall into sin occurred every human fell from their righteousness and communion with God, and so became dead in sin, and wholly defiled in all parts and faculties of soul and body. ADam's guilt and sin has been imputed to all as reinforced in Romans and 1 Corinthians. Mr Ru

Australian Prime Minister Rudd can't protect Christians or any Christian organization from Homosexual activism

It may be that the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is concerned his new-found position on marriage is hurting his standing with Christians. At last night’s “peoples’ forum” debate with Tony Abbott in Brisbane , the two leaders were again asked for their positions on same-sex marriage. It was interesting that Mr Rudd went straight to concerns about religious freedom in his answer saying the church should never have to conduct same-sex weddings. The church was not even mentioned in the question. After years of defending man-woman marriage, Mr Rudd reiterated his new view that there could be two systems of marriage: civil same-sex marriage and church-based marriage that excluded homosexuals. But what then does the “marriage equality” campaign mean if churches do not have to provide “marriage equality”? It is clear from overseas examples that advocates for changing the definition of marriage will not stop until they achieve what they see as full equality. Already a wealthy, high profile homo

Kevin Rudd declares war on Marriage

In recent years gay "marriage" has had no realistic chance of being legislated or recognised at a federal level in Australia as both ex-Prime Minister Julia Gillard and opposition leader Tony Abbott were staunchly opposed.  However, on Sunday night during an election debate with second-time Prime Minister Kevin Rudd , everything changed and “marriage equality” is now a high profile election issue. Sunday evening saw the first of the three televised debates between Prime Minister Kevin Rudd MP and Opposition Leader, Tony Abbott MP, in the lead-up to the national elections on the 7 th  of September. Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd The debate was driven by questions being fired from a panel of Australian political journalists on issues such as the economy, health, aged care, education and border protection. At the last, and before the leaders gave their summary addresses, the moderator, Skynews journalist David Speers , fired off his own question on same-se

Kevin Rudd promotes anti-family homosexual values

English: Kevin Rudd, 26th Prime Minister of Australia. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Many Australians are disappointed with Rudd's announcement.  It's very hard to understand how someone who spent years defending marriage between a man and woman now sees it as a priority to be fast tracked.  Why the urgency to legislate immorality when Canada and the UK are clearly displaying that Homosexual advocates ignore the law, sue people who don't do what they want, get people fired from their jobs and cause community pain because they deamnd their selfish focused rights. It's extremely strange that Rudd would even vote against changing the definition of marriage.    I think there should be a referendum for the Australian people to decide. This is about the fifth time this has come up, in the last two or three years. It's been rejected in the parliament, but it keeps coming back because homosexual advocates are so self focused that refuse to take no for an answer for

Kevin Rudd illogical thinking on immoral Homosexual Marriage

Image
English: Kevin Rudd, 26th Prime Minister of Australia. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Why did Kevin Rudd frame the same-sex marriage debate as a Christian issue? He is suggesting that whatever issues Christians support can not be secular. What nonsense, writes Michael Cook. In a blaze of carefully-scripted publicity, after long and deep reflection, former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has endorsed same-sex marriage . The odd thing about the essay in which he explains why he changed his mind is that he has framed the debate as a Christian issue. Rudd describes himself as "a bit of a god-botherer" (aka Christian) who has been seeking Christian reasons to support same-sex marriage. "Given that I am allowed a conscience vote on these issues, then what constitutes for me a credible Christian view of same-sex marriage?" he wrote. This is an odd question for an experienced politician. Surely in the days when Rudd opposed the legalisation of same-sex marriage he was not doin

Kevin Rudd's illogical homosexual marriage argumenr

Image
Kevin Rudd (Photo credit:  Wikipedia ) Rudd's logic goes like this: a pentecostal man who is a hard working, kind, diligent government worker has admitted his  homosexual  tendencies to his pastor and has reported to Rudd his pastor is okay with his homosexual tendencies but not his church, then asks Rudd if he would ever get married? The question is can nice hard working, intelligent loving, people sin, deceived by sin? The Bible says yes.  Rudd look at the nice person and correctly feels compassion, but chooses not to look at the Bible. In so doing he places himself outside of the faith regardless of what he says, claims, church attendance, by contradicting what  God  calls gross sin, Rudd wants to celebrate sin. Rudd's thoughtful view is that an honest, caring hard working person claiming to be a Christian, who also is battling homosexual temptation should pursue his sin by helping homosexual marriage be legalizes. Change the word to adulterer, and see how the logi

English: Kevin Rudd, 26th Prime Minister of Australia. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The Australian Christian lobby has issued a bizarre statement arguing that same sex marriage could lead to a new " stolen generation ", and would inevitably lead to children being taught the mechanics of homosexual sex in school sex education classes. ACL managing director Lyle Shelton said Kevin Rudd 's overnight change-of-mind ignored the consequence of "robbing children of their biological identity through same-sex surrogacy and other assisted reproductive technologies ". Kevin Rudd's explanation also lacks theological support. Instead he has been given an incorrect argument by a gay activist regarding; slavery, stoning adulters, as justification we have changed these practices why not marriage. "Marriage is not just an affectionate relationship between two people regardless of gender," Mr Shelton said. "Marriage has always been about providin
