Penny Wong (lesbian in ssm) claims Israel Folau faith is wrong
Penny Wong is a Labor Senator for the Australian Government. She is a lesbian woman in fake homosexual marriage to another woman with a child. She claims to be a Christian.
Here is her statement to Israel Folau. Israel Folau is a footballer and Christian. He was sacked because he posted on Facebook a quote from 1 Corinthians 6. Raelene Cole CEO of Rugby Australia sacked him for quoting the Bible but in particular, was offended by God including homosexuality as a sin that prohibits eternal life.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Verse 11 then says: And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
In effect, when you continue in sin and celebrate that sin and reject scripture you have rejected Christ.
This is Wong response:
Wong was responding to a question from the studio audience on Monday night’s Q&A about whether the response to Folau’s comments would be different if he were a Muslim rather than a Christian.
“OK, two points I want to address. First, in relation to Mr Folau, can I say — first on an emotional level — I wish that we could have more expressions of love and forgiveness rather than condemnation when it came to belief. I wish public figures, politicians, sporting stars, may consider … where their words land with vulnerable Australians.”
Then the practicing Christian, who attends Pilgrim Uniting Church in Adelaide, made it clear she and Folau see their religion very differently.
“He is entitled to his beliefs,” she said. “I disagree. I think we ought remember he doesn’t speak for all Christians.
Folau was expressing love and compassion - warning those caught in sin (like Wong) that they will not inherit the Kingdom. Their declaration of sinful behavior entitled them to the Kingdom is an affront to God's holiness.
We warn children for their benefit not to touch a hot stove top. That is love and care in action. It is not condemnation to warn a child not to walk onto a busy highway - that is love and care, that is telling the child truth.
She may claim to be a follower of Christ and attend church. But she doesn't obey scripture and like other LGBTQ people claims she is right and all other Christian followers of Christ around the world are wrong.
