Liberal Lawmakers Lawyers demand military accept trans-gender

A group of liberal lawmakers has introduced legislation in both the House and the Senate to force the military to accept so-called transgender individuals as soldiers. Their plan is to take the issue away from President Trump, who has appropriately banned transgender individuals, and the Supreme Court, which recently ruled that the ban may go into effect while the courts examine the legal issues.

People who claim to be transgender suffer from a serious medical condition – gender dysphoria – and refuse to accept the reality that they are the sex that matches their body at birth. So they have invented the concept of "gender identity" in order to claim that they are actually the opposite sex. And then they insist that the entire military be complicit in their delusion, treating biological men as women, and biological women as men. And to ensure that their appearance matches their gender identity and that they are emotionally secure in their transition, they demand that taxpayers spend billions of dollars on medical treatment for them, including for sex change surgeries, hormone therapies, and mental health services.

The military of the United States exists to protect and defend our nation. It should not be used for an expensive social experiment that is being foisted on us by LGBT extremists who want to use politics – and taxpayer money – to advance a dangerous gender ideology.

The experience of transgender ideology in other contexts makes it clear that there will be real consequences if this legislation were to be adopted opening up the military to transgender soldiers. To give just one example, not long ago a biological male who claimed a female identity was put into a women's prison after being found guilty of a crime. He proceeded to rape several female inmates while in custody.

But it's not only the safety and security of female military personnel that is at risk by allowing transgender individuals in the military, but it is also their privacy as well. It is already difficult enough for military personnel to maintain some modicum of privacy since they often live in barracks and dorms, and must utilize community showers and restrooms. Now women will be forced to sleep and shower next to biological men who claim to be women, and if they complain about this invasion of privacy they will be subject to disciplinary action. It's insane.


President Trump and the leaders of Congress need to know that the American people have the military's back. We depend on our military to keep us safe and secure and we should not sit idly by while LGBT extremists attempt to hijack their mission for their own dangerous agenda.

DENVER, CO ,  – A Colorado board has ruled that a Christian business owner must make wedding cakes for homosexual "marriages" despite his religious objections. Business owner Jack Phillips came under legal fire in 2012, when he refused to bake a cake for Dave Mullins and Charlie Craig , who had traveled to Massachusetts for a marriage license, and wanted to celebrate in their home state.
