Watoto Children's Choir bannded - because their church speaks the truth on homosexuality

MP Stuart Robert has called a powerful church leader one of the 'great influences' on his life and has allegedly used taxpayers money to visit the church. But the SMH has attempted to smear the MP, Watoto Church, their pastors and elders and choir as being bigots, haters and homophobic. What SMH doesn't accept is God's view on the sin of homosexuality, it's repercussions and its ultimate destiny.

Mr Robert called Watoto Church leader Gary Skinner a huge influence in his life - and in his maiden parliamentary speech said the church was an axis for his moral compass.

Watoto is a popular Church in Uganda followed by more than 24,000 people across 11 churches and helps children orphaned by war and AIDS. They also have an internationally popular children's choir that travels the globe, that visited Australia last week.

A spokesman for Mr Robert said he was a former director of the Australian branch of Watato on an 'unpaid and voluntary basis' and had visited Africa on more than a dozen occasions and had spent more than a decade helping improve the lives of orphaned children in Africa.

Gay and lesbian activists accuse Watoto and Mr Skinner have contributed to violent homophobia in Uganda, with the church claiming homosexuality is 'degrading' and an 'inhuman sin'.

At least gay advocates got one thing correct - homosexuality is a degarding and inhuman sin. Romans 1 clearly states that God abandons those who practise this sin and leaves them with a depraved mind. Gay advocates then try to link God's view of homosexuality with violence. But it doesn't work. Even the Syndey Morning Herald tried to smear a Government minister as supporting gay violence.

LOOK AT THE WAY SMH STATES THE OBJECTION BY GAY ADVOCATE
Nobel Peace Prize nominee and one of Uganda's leading gay rights advocates, Frank Mugisha, said Mr Skinner was, 'one of the most homophobic people in the world', but his charitable work makes him popular.

When Christians and pastors speak out against various sin of adultery, lying, cheating and homosexuality - gay advocates immediately label all believers as haters, bigots, homophobic people. It doesn't work!

Mugisha said while Mr Skinner does not publicly support anti-gay laws, he has endorsed and hosted (anti-gay) preachers (or preachers who truthfully declare God's word on homosexuality) who have come to catalyse homphobic sentiment in Uganda.

If churches remain silent on homosexual sin and any other sin, they are not speaking the truth and their silence - either is not one of love as love warns a person of the danger of such a sin as Jesus clearly point out in Mark 9:42-49. Jesus cannot be any clearer in his statement.

Watoto Church elder Stephen Langa has said in letters on homosexuality that it is the 'conflict between the kingdom of Satan and the Kingdom of God'.

Ah, finally the truth! This truth is not welcomed by gay advocates who want to promote the work of Satan and smear the work of God.

Gay rights activists in the US have petitioned for the nation to ban Mr Skinner and the Watoto Choir from entering the country.
