Gay lawsuit would force all EU countries to recognize same-sex ‘marriage’

Image
The European Court of Justice will decide if the "marriage" of two homosexuals will be recognized throughout all EU member states , regardless of nations that still maintain that marriage is exclusively between a man and a woman. The  case  before the court hinges on the definition of the word “spouse.” Homosexuals Adrian Coman and Clai Hamilton were “wed” in Belgium in 2010 and now live in the United States . But now Coman wants his home country of Romania to recognize his same-sex “marriage” so that he and his partner can immigrate there and receive the social benefits of a normal married couple.  But the Romanian Constitutional Court, instead of solving the matter itself, voted by a majority of seven to two to refer the matter for a preliminary ruling to the European Court of Justice.  Normally interpreted to mean husband and wife, activists hope that judges in the EU ’s Court of Justice (EUCJ) will  broadly interpret the word  "spouse" to includ

What Colorado has done to Jack Phillips is outrageous

One of the most important religious liberty cases of modern times is presently before the U.S. Supreme Court . NOM's legal brief in the  Masterpiece Cakeshop v Colorado case was recently covered by  USA Today , which quoted directly from our submission to the Supreme Court: "The National Organization for Marriage...cites other instances in which the high court has protected the right to exclude speech. 'Newspapers cannot be forced to print messages from those they criticize,' the group says. 'Car owners cannot be forced to display political messages, children cannot be forced to recite the Pledge of Allegiance , parades cannot be forced to include other viewpoints, utilities cannot be forced to include brochures for consumer advocates in the utility's billing envelope, and government workers cannot be forced to even pay for the political speech of labor unions.'" This is the legal case where Jack Phillips , a devout Christian baker, who

Catholic farmer, banned from market for his gay marriage stance, wants judge to intervene

A Michigan farmer banned from selling his produce in East Lansing because he won’t let same-sex couples rent his property for weddings plans to ask a federal judge Wednesday for an injunction against the ban. City officials plan to ask the judge to deny the farmer’s request and also dismiss his lawsuit against the city. City officials plan to ask the judge to deny the farmer’s request and also dismiss his lawsuit against the city. The Facebook post in question said that Tennes’ Country Mill Farms Inc. would continue scheduling weddings at its orchard as long as the ceremonies did not violate Tennes’ Roman Catholic beliefs. After months of conflict between the farmer and East Lansing officials over Tennes’ refusal to allow same-sex marriages to be held on his property, whi

The debate isn't about homosexual discrimination but changing the definition of marriage.

“ Don’t LGBTI couples deserve equality? ” Every man and woman in Australia needs to know they’re equally valuable to God . This applies to LGBTI people just as it does for everyone else. So Christians are against any law that unfairly discriminates against an LGBTI person.  We actively supported the Same-Sex Relationships reforms in 2008 because it provided equal treatment, such as with laws to do with superannuation.  Minister Tanya Plibersek said at the time, “We removed every piece of legal discrimination against gay men, lesbians and same-sex couples on the statute books”.1 It was the right thing to do for individuals.  Today the debate isn’t really about discrimination – as Minister Plibersek says, the discrimination had been removed. It’s about changing the definition of marriage .  And when that happens, it could actually create new forms of discrimination. That’s because marriage is a compound right: the right of two adults to commit to a binding u

Homosexuality was thought to be mental disorder now its celebrated?

Image
Future historians will likely be flummoxed by the moment we’re living in. In what amounts to less than a blink of an eye in the history of Western civilization, homosexuality has gone from a diagnosed mental disorder , criminal offence to something to be celebrated — or else. Indeed, the rush to mandatory celebration is so intense, refusal is now considered tantamount to a crime. And, in some rare instances, an actual crime if the right constable or bureaucrat concludes that you have uttered ‘hate speech.’ HOMOSEXUAL ACTIVISTS HAVE FORCED INSTITUTIONS TO CHANGE THEIR MINDS. The Bible condemns homosexuality as a sin. The enlightenment wanted freedom from religion so it invented the concept - private sphere and public sphere where the state took no interest in what happens behind closed doors. This philosophy has since been devastating. Domestic violence and pedophilia now happen behind closed doors and was permitted until the law was slectivle changed. Many groups had accepte

Police over-react to Homosexual claims...again!

Christian evangelist was accused of a hate crime and locked up in a cell after preaching from the Bible to a gay teenager. Gordon Larmour, 42, was charged by police after telling the story of Adam and Eve to a 19-year-old who asked him about God ’s views on homosexuality. The street preacher referred to the Book of Genesis and stated that God created Adam and Eve to produce children. Within minutes he was frogmarched to a police van, accused of threatening or abusive behaviour 'aggravated by prejudice relating to sexual orientation ' - despite not swearing or using any form of offensive language. The father-of-one spent a night in custody and faced a six-month ordeal before a sheriff cleared him of any blame. The incident, which occurred in his home town of Irvine in Ayrshire , has become a rallying point for Christian campaigners who are concerned that freedom of speech is being stifled by political correctness. Mr Larmour told the Scottish Mail on Sunday : “I can'

Time for Trump - religious exclusions - Homosexuals hide behind law to abuse elderly female florist

In April 2013 Ferguson filed a consumer protection lawsuit against Barronelle Stutzman and her Richland, Washington floral shop Arlene's Flowers in response to a complaint by homosexuals  Robert Ingersoll and his homosexual friend Curt Freed. Ferguson claimed the business violated Washington's consumer protection law after Stutzman refused to provide flowers for the couple's immoral homosexual wedding.  The attorney general's office sent a letter to Stutzman informing her she was in violation of Washington State's Consumer Protection Act. A letter by Ferguson called for a penalty of $2,000 Dollars and to celebrate all same sex unions. Really to celebrate immoral; homosexual marriage is such an offense. Stutzman sent back a reply that it was against her religious beliefs to do so.  The attorney general's office followed up with a phone call to Stutzman, giving her an opportunity to comply with the law, head off legal action, and avoid paying fees

Honest Homosexual marriage debate - that gays want to bury

Most Australians love Jesus ’ teaching that we should “do unto others”. It’s a good thing to do. Jesus’ teaching that “no man has greater love than that he lay down his life” is seen as a very good thing. You’ll find it set in stone on lots of ANZAC monuments in our towns and suburbs. And Jesus’ teaching on marriage is something we all respect too: “What God has joined together, let no one tear asunder”. We all somehow know that’s right. Jesus said that the way marriage has been from the beginning is that a man leaves his mother and father, he is joined to a woman and the two become one flesh. So faithfulness is a good thing. Enduring together is a good thing. And a partnership between people of the opposite sex is a good thing. We shouldn’t tear apart a good thing that God has put together. Once this was obvious stuff for Australians. Now Australians are hearing voices say marriage isn’t about a man and a woman; that gender doesn’t matter at all to marriage. A new definition of m
