Almost everything the media tell you about sexual orientation and Gender Identity is wrong

I want to share with you a groundbreaking new study published today in the journal -  The New Atlantis , entitled  "Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the Biological, Psychological, and Social Sciences." The report is authored by two eminent scholars and draws upon a huge range of research from the 1950s to the present. Dr. Lawrence Mayer, M.B., M.S., Ph.D., is a scholar-in-residence in the Department of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and a professor of psychiatry and biostatistics at Arizona State University. Dr. Paul McHugh, M.D., is a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and served as psychiatrist-in-chief at the University's Hospital for twenty-five years. During his tenure at the hospital, Dr. McHugh put an end to sex reassignment surgery referrals after research showed that the impacts of such procedures do not provide the benefits claimed by those who advocate for it. The landmark report by

Homosexual laws could get tougher in Indonesia

Image
Indonesia’s Constitutional Court is considering a petition from conservative Muslim and Christian groups to apply the existing law against homosexual acts between adults and minors to sexual activity between adults. The Alliance for Family Love has asked to court to conduct the judicial review, with the ultimate goal to make all homosexual acts illegal while extending the law against heterosexual rape to include homosexual attacks. “We see the moral degradation that is happening,” said Rita Hendrawaty Soebagio, chairwoman of the alliance. “This is purely because of our love for our nation; we must do something while we have a chance. Australia is going down a very evil immoral road with same sex marriage, we do not want this nor do we support this.” The court has heard experts testify about the health hazards posed by homosexual activity but also is expected to hear rebuttal from human rights advocates. Some Indonesian local governments already criminalize homosexual acts

Obama administration sues North Carolina over restroom privacy law

Image
The Obama administration has sued to stop North Carolina from enforcing a state law barring members of one biological sex from using the restrooms or intimate accommodations of the opposite sex, saying that doing so “causes significant and irreparable physical, psychological, economic, social, and stigmatic harm to transgender people.” The complaint states that relying upon biology to determine a person's sex is “medically inaccurate,” and says that repealing H.B. 2 will have no impact on sexual assault, because rape is already illegal. The administration is seeking a preliminary injunction against the state's H.B. 2 law, which requires people to use the restroom of the sex that is listed on their birth certificate. That amounts to “state-sanctioned discrimination that is inflicting immediate and significant harm on transgender individuals,” the Justice Department stated in a   70-page legal complaint   filed on Tuesday. Although   the Obama administration sued the

Homosexual violence - never reported

KAMPALA, Uganda.  Though their courage in the face of certain and horrible death was exemplary, the reason why Uganda’s 45 young male martyrs were burned to death by King Mwanga II on June 3 191 years ago has fallen behind a veil of silence that enshrouds even the Christian news media, as a story in  Christianity Today  this month shows. The silence, according to defenders of the natural family and Christian sexual morality, reflects the success of homosexual activists in driving all criticism of same-sex relations from public discourse. “Across the Western media, and it is creeping even into Christian media, homosexual violence is all off limits,” said Scott Lively, the outspoken Evangelical pastor and defender of the natural family and Christian values who has been blamed for exporting American-style homophobia to Uganda. When Pope Francis visited the shrine to the 22 Catholic martyrs in January, the mass he celebrated was covered by mainstream and Catholic news media wit

Homosexuality: Does the Pope read his Bible?

Image
Rome rally against homosexual marriage Pope Francis has told the Church to say sorry to gay and lesbian people, and any others that feel marginalised by the Church. Fair enough . He was asked on Sunday whether he agreed with one of his top advisers, German Cardinal Reinhard Marx, who told a conference in Dublin in the days after the deadly Orlando gay club attack that the church owed an apology to gay and lesbian people for having marginalised them.  This question ignores the new information that Orlando was gay on gay revenge.  The apology could be - Catholics are not sharing the truth about the sin of homosexuality. That is worth an apology. By not doing so, Catholics are condemning people to a lifestyle of sin, brokeness and spiritual confusion.  The leader of Catholics all over the globe responded saying he was not able to judge anyone else .  Unfortunately, scripture encourages judging but not in a hypocritical way. This is such a foolish, unclear statement. He

Intolerant immoral LGBT bullies bash Pastors in North Carolina

Image
In a situation reminiscent of last year's religious freedom fight in Indiana, and the more recent one last week in Georgia, powerful politicians and CEOs across America are teaming up with the LGBT lobby to pressure North Carolina to overturn its new law protecting privacy in restrooms and similar facilities. Inside the state, North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory has refused to back down on his signature of the measure, despite pressure from Democratic Attorney General Roy Cooper , who is running a campaign against McCrory. The Republican governor   signed the law last week   after a statewide outcry against a Charlotte ordinance requiring all businesses and public buildings to allow citizens identifying as transgender to use their preferred bathrooms, locker rooms, and similar facilities. The bill overrode the Charlotte ordinance, but included exemptions that allow public entities to make their own internal hiring policies, and allows transgendered individuals who have

Corporate war on religious freedom and LGBT bullies

Image
Attorney Jane Robbins , Senior Fellow with the American Principles Project, commented on the economic threats to Georgia.  "Good people are trying to live their lives according to their faith.  Are we really going to subordinate religious freedom to the love of money?" Pastor Garland Hunt of the Fellowship of International Churches told LifeSiteNews, "There is no plausible reason for the governor to not have enthusiastically signed Georgia’s Religious Freedom Act.” Macon's Berean Baptist Church pastor Joe Bowker told LifeSiteNews of the legislation, "in no way is it discriminatory," because "disagreement is not discrimination." Robbins characterized America’s corporations as assisting bigotry.  “Anti-religious bigots, emboldened by corporate America and the political left, are now waging all-out war on religious freedom. This crass attempt to bully people of faith is un-American." Of the many major corporations threatening bo

Bermudan premier heeds pro-family coalition’s call for vote on same-sex ‘marriage’

Image
Bermuda 's Premier Michael Dunkley has announced plans to let all Bermudans vote on whether homosexuals should be included in the country's definition of marriage , in response to a strong pro-marriage lobby from a church-led coalition on the one hand and a court decision that same-sex couples must be treated the same as heterosexual ones on the other. A homosexual rights lawyer wasted no time in declaring that any law passed in response to a Christian lobby group might be automatically unconstitutional. Dunkley announced that the government would hold the non-binding referendum "in order to get the widest possible reach of views from the people." In the same statement, he said, "As a final and important point, this Government is of the view that marriage is a union between a man and a woman." The referendum announcement is the latest development in the same-sex issue, sparked by the landmark 2015 Supreme Court decision in the Bermuda Bred case, decla

Homosexuals and what the Bible says

Image
Unquestionably homosexuality has become a major issue in the world today. The openness and political clout of the homosexual movement has dramatically increased in recent years. In former times it was not talked about openly; if it was, the movement and people were often derided.  Today homosexuals as a group have considerable leverage, and any slight against them is met with an immediate and forceful response. Remember some of the words that were used to describe homosexuals in days past? For example, although the dictionary still gives “homosexual” as a meaning of the word queer, one would dare not use that word today in public. Gay is the “in” word now. “Gay rights” are asserted in many arenas, and “gay pride” parades occur in many cities annually. Until 1973 homosexuality was on the American Psychiatric Association ’s list of mental disorders, but it was removed that year. Defenders of the movement tell us that homosexuality should no longer be considered a deviant lifestyl
