Joe Biden: ‘There’s homophobes still left – most of them are running for president’

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Vice President Joe Biden equated gender ideology with civil rights in a recent speech, at the same time calling marriage supporters homophobic. Gays and lesbians should not fear "those shrill voices" working to oppose homosexual "marriage," Biden said, because Americans "have moved so far beyond them and their appeals to prejudice and fear and homophobia." The potential Democrat presidential contender also took the occasion to attack the character of candidates from across the political aisle, stating, "There's homophobes still left – most of them are running for president." Biden used his remarks before the annual dinner for the homosexual activist group the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to advance his support for allowing those suffering from gender dysphoria to serve openly in the military. Broussard, Bigotry, and the NBA

Image
The criticism of Broussard is totally unwarranted After watching Broussard’s remarks with my wife, I turned to her and said, “That was strong.” All he did was to confess what the Bible teaches about sexual morality and about what God requires of every Christian—obedience ( 1 John 2:4). It was a clearer word than what you would hear in many pulpits. It was biblical. It was faithful. It was courageous. After the news broke earlier today that Jason Collins has come out as the first openly gay player in the NBA, I didn’t really plan to comment. But that all changed after watching Chris Broussard ’s commentary for ESPN . After Collins’ announcement appeared, all the sports shows were abuzz with the news. ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” hosted a discussion between two sportswriters: the openly gay LZ Granderson and the Christian Chris Broussard. The long and short of it is this. Jason Collins still claims to be a Christian even though he is openly gay. ESPN asked Broussard to comment

Obama’s crude and offensive invite for Pope Francis: a Catholic schoolteacher fired over her gay ‘marriage’

Image
The lesbian teacher fired from a Philadelphia-area Catholic school   after complaints over her homosexual “marriage” has been invited to the White House to attend the welcoming ceremony for Pope Francis. Homosexual activist   organization   Human Rights Campaign   (HRC) verified Monday that it had gotten tickets from the White House for Margie Winters and her homosexual partner Andrea Vettori for the event. The Wednesday ceremony is not open to the public. The women, who were already planning to attend papal events in Washington D.C. and the World Meeting of Families, were reportedly “giddy” about the news of their invitation.  "Obviously we won't be talking to the pope, but we will be in the vicinity," Winters said of the White House event. "But symbolically, it's a great step forward." A report surfaced late last week that   the Vatican had taken offense to a White House list   of controversial invitees. An unnamed Vatican official reported

TONY JONES, PRESENTER: Our next guest, Katy Faust, serves on the academic and testimonial council of the International Children's Rights Institute. As you heard in Tom Iggulden's story, she's a fierce opponent of same-sex marriage, despite being raised by same-sex parents and describing her mother as a loving gay parent. She's in Canberra to lobby against same-sex marriage. Katy Faust joins us now from Parliament House. Thanks for being there. KATY FAUST, TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE ADVOCATE: Thanks so much for having me. TONY JONES: Have you actually managed to speak to any Australian politicians yet? KATY FAUST: We did. My - my partner in crime, Millie Fontana, who is a resident of Melbourne and also raised by two mothers and I had a chance to speak with a couple of members of Parliament yesterday. TONY JONES: Not the Prime Minister so far? KATY FAUST: No, no. He hasn't called yet. TONY JONES: Now how is it that the daughter of lesbian mothers has

Not homophobic or bigots or haters

Anti-Homosexuality Bill in Uganda. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Good Gay News is not homophobic. We don't fear homosexuals .  For the most part, they are productive and helpful people in society. We are no more homophobic than they are heterophobic . Rather, we recognize the moral and social implications of the homosexual agenda that seeks to move into all areas of society and redefine morals in a manner consistent with the homosexual agenda. What is the agenda? It is to make homosexuality an accepted lifestyle in society, to have it be considered a normal and healthy lifestyle, a legitimate marriage choice, and a morally sound option among all people. To this, we stand in opposition because the Bible clearly says that homosexuality is a sin (Lev. 18:22; 20:13; 1 Cor. 6:9-10; Rom. 1:26-28). Therefore, we exercise our right to express our religious views, defend what the Bible teaches, and expose the spiritual, physical, and emotional harm that homosexuality poses. Furth

Perhaps we need a new Revolution to defend marriage: author

Image
Robert R. Reilly has penned one of the most important books on same-sex ‘marriage’ to date, yet the book has seen little coverage  even from conservative  media.  Making Gay Okay , published by Ignatius Press earlier this year, has answered how and why the movement for gay “marriage” has swept America and the only way to defeat it – a way that has been largely ignored, with predictable results. In an interview with  LifeSiteNews,  Reilly, who served as senior advisor for information strategy for the U.S. Secretary of Defense from 2002 to 2006 and has taught at the National Defense University , noted with wit that the most immediate cause of the current situation in America was “the sexual revolution in the 1960s that separated sex from diapers.” “If heterosexuals can rationalize their sexual misbehavior, why can’t homosexuals rationalize theirs?” he said. “The deeper cause has been the overthrow of the ‘ Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God’ as a source of moral meaning.”

Is sodomy reasonable?

In his new book,  Making Gay Okay: How Rationalizing Homosexual Behavior Is Changing Everything ,  Robert Reilly poses this question: “Is sodomy  reasonable ?” He believes this question can only be answered by enquiring into the Nature of sexual acts. He frames his arguments rejecting homosexual behavior, not persons, and same-sex marriage in terms of reason, Nature and the teleology of sex. Reilly’s thesis is that there are “two fundamental views of reality.” One views things as having a Nature that is teleological or ordered to “ends that inhere in their essence and make them what they are” and have “inbuilt purposes.” The other view sees things as having no Nature or ends in themselves, “but only what we make them to be according to our wills and desires.” The former view leads to the “primacy of reason,” and the latter inclines to the “primacy of will” which allows for anything. “This is what the same-sex marriage debate is really about - the Nature of reality itself,” writes
