English: American politician Tony Perkins. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) WASHINGTON, D.C. , - The Southern Poverty Law Council's decision to label ministries that oppose same-sex "marriage" as "hate groups" led directly to the Family Research Council (FRC) shooting, according to a chilling new video. The footage, which FRC obtained from the FBI , shows interrogators asking   Floyd Lee Corkins II  how he decided to target the pro-family organization for his August shooting rampage. "This organization...how did you find it earlier?" an investigator asks Corkins. "Did you look it up online?" “Southern Poverty Law lists anti-gay groups," Corkins replies. "I found them online, did a little research, went to the website - stuff like that.” The admission outraged FRC President Tony Perkins . "The SPLC's reckless labeling has led to devastating consequences," Perkins said. "Because of its 'hate group'

Scouts of America Homosexual compromise still bring confusion to young people

Image
The Boy Scouts of America will propose a measure to allow openly gay members to join the Scouts for the first time in its century-long history, despite the fact that a survey found almost two-thirds of stakeholders support the current policy, the organization announced on Friday.  The resolution would allow homosexual scouts to join, but ban adult homosexuals from being scoutmasters. “No youth may be denied membership in the Boy Scouts of America on the basis of sexual orientation or preference alone,” the proposal states. The Scouts board has decided to allow  1,400 members to vote on May 20  on the measure after declining to take a position in February. The BSA released a statement saying it had received 200,000 responses to its questionaire on the policy. In a  summary of its findings , it found, “Respondents support the current policy by a 61 percent to 34 percent margin.” Fully “72 percent of chartered organizations support” the current policy they announced. Gary Bauer: If GOP abandons marriage ‘I will take as many people’ out of the party as possible

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C., March 26, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – If the Republican Party abandons its traditional defense of marriage, it will lead to an exodus of voters from the GOP, former presidential candidate and Reagan administration appointee Gary Bauer said today.  He told thousands at the March for Marriage that he knew many of the attendees were Democrats, independents, or belonged to a third party. “I'm a Republican,” he said in rising cadences. “Let me say to my party: If you bail out on this issue, I will leave the party, and I will take as many people with me as I possibly can!” His speech seemed to take aim at the assessment of Republican strategist Karl Rove , who said on Sunday that  he could see the next Republican presidenital candidate supporting gay “marriage.” Bauer's  cri de couer  is the most blunt reaction so far to suggestions from the Republican Party's leadership that the GOP step away from its platform's traditional stance on soci

Murderer uses Southern Poverty Law Centre's Hate list to target Christians

Image
It could have been me or my staff. That crossed my mind when I learned the  deeply disturbing breaking news : The Family Research Council shooter told the FBI he used the Southern Poverty Law Center 's " hate group " designation on their website to ID and target his victims for a would-be mass murder rampage. According to the  Associated Press , the shooter "also planned to target other organizations that oppose gay marriage if he wasn't stopped. [...] In his pants pocket, police found a handwritten list of groups that also oppose gay marriage." The brave security guard, Leo Johnson , a real hero, jumped the gunman after being shot, and saved the lives of countless decent, loving law-abiding Americans... but to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), Leo's a hater in a hate group. The SPLC, once a respected civil rights organization that targeted racist skinhead hate groups bent on dehumanizing their fellow Americans, has decided that it can

Breaking: Supreme Court will hear DOMA, Proposition 8 cases

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C. , December 7, 2012, ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – All nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court announced on Friday that they will hear two cases dealing with same-sex “marriage” in 2013, examining whether the U.S. Congress or the voters in any state have the right to preserve the traditional definition of marriage. Both the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and California’s Proposition 8 will be on the docket next year. The plaintiffs claim the U.S. Constitution blocks both laws. The justices agreed to hear  Windsor v. United States , which challenges DOMA’s right to define marriage for the purposes of the federal government, since some states like New York have redefined marriage. Family Research Council President Tony Perkins said the 1996 law, signed by President Clinton, was “consistent with our principles of federalism,” allowing states to define marriage their own way, while DOMA sets the standard for the federal government. Homosexual Activist: 'FRC Wants Gay Teens Dead'

Image
Radical gay activist Dan Savage launched another vicious attack against Christians who disagree with homosexuality. This week, he accused the Family Research Council and its president, Tony Perkins , of wanting gay teenagers to die. Earlier this year, a gunman attacked FRC at their Washington, D.C. , headquarters during the media controversy over Chick-fil-A 's support for traditional marriage. Now CampusReform.org has posted a video of Savage accusing Perkins and the FRC of pushing gay kids toward suicide . Every dead gay kid is a victory for the Family Research Council," Savage said during a speech at Winona State University . "They argue that the gay lifestyle is sick and sinful and dangerous and they point to the suicide rate, and then they turn around and do everything in their power to make sure that suicide rate does not come down," he claimed. Savage ignores research out of the Netherlands which is an open and friendly community to homosexuals yet m
