FLORIDA, June 4, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews ) – Not every homosexual activist is willing to stand behind  Kate Hunt , the 18-year-old Florida woman accused of statutory rape for engaging in oral sex and mutual masturbation with a 14-year-old girl. Hunt was arrested in February and charged with two felony counts of lewd and lascivious battery against a child between the ages of 12 and 16 for having sex with her then-14-year-old girlfriend (whose name is being withheld because of victim protection laws).  Florida’s age of consent is 18, or 15 as long as both partners are 18 and under.  If convicted, Hunt faces up to fifteen years in prison and will have to register as a sex offender.  Kate Hunt Hunt has become a martyr of sorts for homosexual activists nationwide, who have plastered social media with personal pleas and links to a “Free Kate” website and Facebook group started by Hunt’s parents, who claim their daughter’s arrest was motivated by ‘homophobia’ on the part of the vict

Florida middle school tries to disband immoral gay-straight alliance

LEESBURG, FL, May 14, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – A Florida middle school school board, after caving to ACLU pressure by allowing a 14-year-old student to form a gay-straight alliance club, is now trying to disband it. The school had originally ignored student Baysil Siberston’s requests to start the club, but changed its decision following the threat of a lawsuit that alleged the school had violated Siberston’s First and Fourteenth Amendment rights. Now, the school has crafted a new policy permitting only clubs that promote critical thinking, business, and community service. The new policy has not yet been made official or taken affect. The ACLU has threatened lawsuits for other schools similarly resisting the institution of gay-straight alliance clubs in their schools. LifeSiteNews.com reported on such a threat in  Pennsylvania .  In 2008, a North Carolina high school principal resigned after his school agreed to form a gay-straight alliance . America's neighbo

Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Antonio Marin approved a settlement between a lesbian couple, Maria Italiano and Cher Filippazzo, who were legally "married" in Connecticut , and Massimiliano Gerina, a homosexual who donated sperm for Italiano to become pregnant. Under Florida law , a sperm donor for artificial insemination has no paternity rights . However, Gerina claimed that in the verbal agreement he entered into with the lesbian couple when they asked him for his sperm thathe assumed he would be able to participate in the life of the child he fathered. “They asked me,” Gerina told  The Miami Herald . “I was flattered by it. I thought what a great opportunity for me to have a baby.” The women, he claimed, “wanted a father for the baby, not just t

Canadian Government tables bill to close divorce loophole in same-sex ‘marriages’ of foreigners

OTTAWA, February 20, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Canadian federal Justice Minister Rob Nicholson tabled legislation on February 17 to amend the Civil Marriage Act in order to allow foreign homosexual couples who parachute into Canada to take advantage of our same-sex “marriage” law to just as easily drop in for a divorce. Currently the law holds that foreign homosexuals who have been married in Canada since 2004, when same-sex “marriage” was effectively legalized, are only considered wed under Canadian law if same-sex “marriage” is also recognized in their home country or state. The Canadian Divorce Act also states that couples who come to Canada to marry must live in the country for at least one year before they can obtain a divorce. Rob Nicholson Bill C-32  proposes an amendment to the Civil Marriage Act that would consider the “marriages” of foreign same-sex couples who travel to Canada for the ceremony to be considered valid in Canada, “even if one or both of the non-residen
