Ex Australian Politician Amanda Vanstone - crazy argument for homosexual marriage

Vanstone: In one very real sense the upcoming vote to allow, or not, same sex marriage isn't about that at all. It's about whether we believe that we have the right to dictate how others live their lives.

The answer is no. The Government already dictates the age of the person you can marry. You can't marry your father or mother. We already dictate what is acceptable for marriage. We also jail pedophiles - we dictate to them they cannot have a sexual relationship with a child.

So Amanda, the question is really about homosexuals and lesbians - who are both biologically incompatible (infertile) which goes against common sense, evolution, and the very purpose of marriage - should they marry? NO. Should children marry? NO. Why shouldn't kids marry? Because they are too young immature. We all accept that but homosexual and lesbians dont even match biologically.

Vanstone: It's about whether we will let those gay people who choose to, have their relationship formally recognised. Those relationships are there. They won't come or go with the advent of this vote. There won't be more homosexuality nor less, whatever the outcome of the ballot.
Yes, but those relationships are NOT marriage either historically, physically, biologically and even based on evolution.

Vanstone: Tony Abbott says if you don't like same sex marriage just vote no. I can't think of a better way to belittle the generous, egalitarian, live and let live attitude of most Australians. We are not a nation of narcissists seeking to have the world reflect our own image. This is meant to be the nation that gives everyone a fair go. Just to be clear, I'll be voting yes.

Nonsense - fair go doesn't apply to children who want to marry, pedofiles who want to have sex with children, or Muslim men who want to have many wives. Australians do not say live and let live. Not at all.

Vanstone: Heterosexuals have been rushing out of marriage for decades. If gay people want to rush in I'm delighted. Let's not listen any more to that rubbish about marriage being between a man and a woman, to the exclusion of all others, for life.  Our own laws support the "for life" rule going down the gurgler. Now it just means until such time as you think you might be happier in another marriage.

This is very pathetic. Vanstone is now saying marriage is a total failure because everybody divorces therefore let homosexuals join in and also make a mess of it. What poor disregard you have for God's plan of blessing. Just because people fail, sin, commit adultery does not mean marriage should be changed. People are the problem - people sin. That is the good news of the gospel. Marriage was and is God's plan for humanity.
