Confused Father support immoral homosexual lust of son
Geoff Thomas is a retired plumber; a Vietnam veteran; a dad of two; and grandfather of four. His son Nathan made a lifestyle choice to be homosexual 12 years ago. Historically his dad was against homosexuality. Do all logical argument get thrown out of the window when it is your child? Obviously, yes.
Thomas said he grew up objecting to the sin of homosexuality and spent a lot of time in settings that were hostile to homosexual people. "I spent nine years in the army, I'm a Vietnam veteran, I was a plumbing contractor," he said.
"I had to ask myself the question – what is it about homosexuals that I didn't like? After that, I decided it was unfounded fear, ignorance and prejudice."
Is that really true? Or is it because this dad was unable to talk his son out of this immoral lifestyle choice? He was unable to talk to him about his impotent future, the possibility of sexual disease, the high rates of suicides among homosexual men, the multiples relationships because most gay partnerships are short lived, based on lust and deemed to be immoral.
So Geoff, why was homosexuality seen as a criminal offense? Why was it changed? Did it become less criminal or was it because homosexual men and politicians wanted to ignore history and scripture and legally pursue their lust?
Unfortunately Geoff, decision ignores immoral homosexual history. Homosexuality for many years has and will always be seen as against biological design, physical family reproduction, unhealthy, full of fear and outrightly condemned by scripture and communities around the world. It is fueled by immoral sexual lust.
"To me it's a civil rights issue. It's got nothing to do with religion, nothing to do with gay people having babies. I'm yet to hear a reasonable argument against it." Perhaps he has not listened to anybody outside of his circle of homosexual supporters. Ignorance is not an argument Geoff! Homosexuality is not a civil right regardless of how many times it is shouted by LGBTQ zealots.
