Gay Museum glorifies sin tries to compare itself to Jewish Holocaust Museum

Gay solidarity supporters protest on Oxford Street Paddington eventually arrested in Taylor Square.

A odd Museum dedicated to Sydney's gay and lesbian history is said to be as important as institutions that preserve Jewish history and Australia's military past, says a leading broadcaster and gay rights activist.
The level of arrogance to compare Homosexuality to War Memorial is beyond belief. To compare the action of war heroes acting on behalf of the community against men and women who disobey community standards and God's standards is beyond belief.
A woman campaigned for gay rights in the 1970s and said: ''My memory of that time was you had an illness, it was against God's will and it was unlawful for men and, by implication, for women.'' Unfortuantely, the position of homosexuality is that it is still a grave sin, and against the will of God for the community.
Julie McCrossin, left, curator Nick Henderson, centre, and CEO Michael Rolik are preparing for the openning of a new Mardi Gras museum in Darlinghurst.

The temporary exhibition charting the history of Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras from its origins in 1978 has recently been opened and should be closed immediately by the Premier as a stain and disgrace on humanity and the Catholic faith.
At the time, homosexuality was a crime in NSW. Many in the community feel it should still be prohibited as it displays the arrogance of sin against God.
