LGBT push their immorality into all schools

Image
BELOW IS AN ARTICLE PUSHING THAT LBGTQ HOMOSEXUALITY BE TAUGHT IN ALL SCHOOLS IN ALL STATES - THIS IS SIMPLY IMMORAL CHILD ABUSE. READ THE ARTICLE AND BE SHOCKED. ............................................................................................................. When it comes to teaching minority history, particularly LGBTQ history—those LGBTQ narratives and historical figures that made key contributions toward changing the trajectory of American history—standards enacted at the federal level may be preferable, because individual states have repeatedly obscured and omitted minority narratives from historical curricula. Last month, California became the first state to include LGBTQ history in its public school curriculum, with the passage of "a new History-Social Science Framework that includes 'a study of the role of contributions' of minority groups, including 'lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans,'" as reported by the Los

Turnbull government unveils dramatic changes to Safe Schools program

When asked by Guardian Australia for clarification after Thursday’s remark, Giles said the context at the NTCoss was about bullying. “But the context tonight was about: do you support grooming kids in their sexuality. I do not support that and that component of the Safe Schools program will not be brought into the Northern Territory while I’m there.” “The Country Liberals will not be supporting the sexuality component of the Safe Schools program but we will support anti-bullying,” he said. Gunner told the forum a Labor government would introduce the Safe Schools program or similar, to address the high rates of suicide in the Northern Territory. He said he did not share concerns voiced elsewhere about the content of the program and its related materials. Speaking after the debate, Gunner said the Territory’s children needed certainty and looking after. “As a leader of our community we need to make sure vulnerable kids in our schools are safe from bullying. We know one of the tragic

Australia: Adam Giles says he won't support 'sexuality' element of Safe Schools program

Northern Territory chief minister says he supports anti-bullying parts of program but not ‘grooming kids in their sexuality’ The Northern Territory chief minister, Adam Giles, has gone back on an earlier commitment to enact the Safe Schools program, saying he supported the anti-bullying measures but not those which groomed children’s sexuality. Giles had been addressing a people’s forum debate before Saturday’s election , which largely focused on how Territorians could trust either party to govern. Giles said a CLP government would not introduce the Safe Schools anti-bullying program , but at an untelevised debate organised by the NT council of social services (NTCoss) last week he and opposition leader Michael Gunner had both said they would.

Transgender Ken doll cake sparks outrage. Supporters tell critics to eat it.

A popular bakery in Northern California is caught at the center of a heated debate on social media over a transgender “Ken doll cake” that it said it made for a customer. Freeport Bakery, a well-known business in Sacramento , posted a picture online nearly two weeks ago showing a special-ordered cake that depicted Ken wearing a puffy pink dress, flowery sash and a tiara. The cake triggered controversy on Facebook, with people calling it “truly disgusting” and claiming that the owners were putting their “morals n standards for sale.” “Naively, I guess I just thought this is a really cool cake, and look at how great they did with the butter cream,” Marlene Goetzeler, co-owner of the bakery, told Fox affiliate KTXL . “What’s wrong with a Ken cake?” In 1987, Walter and Marlene Goetzeler bought Freeport Bakery and grew it into a booming business, according to their website . Over the years, it has been named best bakery by Sacramento Magazine  readers. After Freeport Bakery posted th

Tasmania: Definition of offence in hate speech laws gags freedom of expression

LAST year I sent out a teaching document, prepared by the Australian Catholic Bishops, on the nature of marriage to the Catholic community in Tasmania. For this I was cited by the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner for a possible breach of the Anti-Discrimination Act. I was simply doing my job of ensuring those in the Catholic community understood the Church’s position on marriage and its importance for our society. Christians have been presenting the essentials of this teaching since the very beginnings of the Church. Yet after 2000 years such teaching is now considered by some to be offensive, in such a serious way as to require an agency of the Tasmanian Government to seek to suppress it. I welcome the recent announcement from the Attorney-General that the Government is to amend the Anti-Discrimination Act, in particular to give greater protection for freedom of religion. This will be a significant change. Freedom of speech ... should only be limited for the most serious of reasons

Australia: Same-sex marriage ‘no’ is not unloving

Image
A PEOPLE’S vote on redefining marriage has been promised. Many of us have same-sex attracted friends and family. Is it possible to love them while saying no to same-sex marriage? Not everyone thinks so – or would like you to think so. The media in particular fan the flames of ‘unlove’ by regularly labelling those opposed to same-sex marriage as ‘anti-gay’. This is incredibly unhelpful. A prominent gay leader has described the upcoming plebiscite as, “a national vote on whether their country accepts them [same-sex attracted and gender diverse young people]”. This rhetoric, I believe, is very dangerous. It does nothing to encourage the “high-quality debate” he says he desires and, in fact, reinforces any rejection LGBTI youth may already be feeling. I believe saying ‘no’ to same-sex marriage is a way of showing love, not rejection. Here’s why: 1. It is not unloving to tell the truth about marriage . Marriage is clearly different to a same-sex relationship – for reasons of biology, soc

States, religious groups sue HHS over transgender treatment requirements

Five states, joined by Christian health care providers, have filed a lawsuit challenging the Obama administration over new federal rules they say could force doctors to perform gender-transition procedures that violate their religious beliefs or medical judgment. Texas, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Nebraska, and Kansas filed the suit at a Texas federal court last Tuesday, along with the Christian Medical and Dental Association and the Franciscan Alliance – a network of religious hospitals. The lawsuit claims that nondiscrimination rules issued by the Department of Health and Human Services in May would force doctors to ignore their medical judgment in favor of “rigid commands.” The lawsuit claims doctors could be forced to perform procedures such as gender-reassignment surgery and hysterectomies. “On pain of significant financial liability, the regulation forces doctors to perform controversial and sometimes harmful medical procedures ostensibly designed to permanently change an individual
