JEFFERSON CITY, MO , April 25, 2014 -- Republicans in the Missouri State House have brought three charges of impeachment against Democratic Governor Jay Nixon . The main charge relates to an Executive Order by Nixon that allows same-sex couples who "marry" in other states to file tax returns jointly in the state. Nixon said he was forced to make the decision because of how the state and federal tax codes are linked, but Republicans say it violates the state's voter-approved constitutional amendment banning same-sex "marriage." LIMA, Peru , April 25, 2014  – In a press release published two days ago, the Peruvian Bishops denounced “insulting” and “disrespectful” statements made by Nobel-prize-winning author Mario Vargas Llosa against the Catholic Church as he voiced his support for same-sex civil unions , an initiative being considered by the Peruvian National Congress. LLANDUDNO, Wales ,  – The Anglican Church ’s “views have evolved and changed” on the nature of marriage “a subject which Jesus pronounced very clearly,” the head of the Anglican Church in Wales said this week; therefore, it can also change its teaching on homosexuality. In  an address  to the governing body of the Church in Wales, Dr. Barry Morgan, the Anglican Archbishop of Wales warned of the danger of the Anglican Churches being “seen as homophobic.” Morgan said that the Church’s views “evolve and change” as it responds to the changes in the secular world. In his new book God and the Gay Christian, Matthew Vines seeks to legitimate homosexual practice among evangelicals.
