Pro heterosexual marriage revolution building in France: up to 1 million march

Image
The French have done it again. Two weeks after same-sex “marriage” became legal, the odds seemed against a major turnout for the latest national demonstration against the new law. And the minister of the Interior , Manuel Valls , certainly did his best to discourage would-be participants from joining the march: all day Saturday, he sent out alarming messages on television and on the radio warning that in view of expected violence families with children would do best to stay at home. But on Sunday, organizers estimated that up to a million people marched from three different points in Paris towards the Invalides , including large numbers of young people and families with children and babies in push-cars. One mother answering the press said she had originally intended to come without her kids – Valls’ intimidation tactics encouraged her to bring them along.  The estimate given by organizers is more than six times the number given out by the ministry of the Interior. However, hav

Homosexual marriage agenda targets Christian freedom

Three British Christians who argued that their beliefs saw them wrongly disciplined by their employers for actions such as refusing to counsel same-sex couples have lost their legal battle at the European court of human rights . Shirley Chaplin, Gary McFarlane and Lillian Ladele   had their appeals to the Strasbourg court rejected in January  as part of the same ruling as that in which Nadia Eweida , a British Airways check-in attendant, won her fight against being banned from wearing a cross at work. The three sought to resolve the matter in the court's grand chamber, its final arbiter. However,  judges at the court have rejected the request , in effect ending the legal battle. The success for Eweida, who was awarded €2,000 (£1,600) in compensation after a seven-year struggle with the airline – a decision welcomed by David Cameron among others – partly overshadowed the contrasting judgment in the cases of Chaplin, McFarlane and Ladele. Chaplin, 57, a geriatrics nurse f

Toronto Catholic teacher: Joining gay club is ‘embodiment of a perfectly-formed Catholic conscience’

A teacher in Toronto’s Catholic school board shocked parents and ratepayers last week when she declared that joining a gay-straight alliance is a “perfect outcome” for Catholic students. Teresa Kelly, a technology teacher at Bishop Marrocco/Thomas Merton Catholic Secondary School , gave a five-minute speech Thursday at a Toronto Catholic District School Board meeting that dealt with trustee Garry Tanuan’s motion to ban GSAs. Catholic teacher Teresa Kelly as she appears in her profile picture on social media. According to the teacher, being part of a GSA is “the embodiment of a perfectly-formed Catholic conscience.” As long as you ignore Biblical scripture, and sever your conscious and allow your conscious to be informed not by God's word but by the LGBT agenda.  “As a Catholic teacher, I feel that [ Thomas Merton ’s GSA] provides a beautiful place that is safe, that is inclusive, and that protects vulnerable children,” said Kelly, who’s been in the board for over 20

Manitoba Teachers’ Society votes to infuse ‘LGBTQ’ issues throughout provincial curricula

Image
The Manitoba Teachers’ Society ( MTS ) passed a resolution on Saturday to lobby the provincial government to revamp its entire spectrum of existing curricula to include “ LGBTQ ” (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) issues, people, and values. About 90 percent of 290 delegates to MTS’s Annual General Meeting — representing 15,000 public school teachers — voted in favor of the resolution,  according  to MTS President Paul Olson. If the resolution is adopted, the government would require all schools receiving public funding, both public and private, to follow the reengineered curricula.  The new curricula must “explicitly speak to sensitive issues being addressed in the classroom” if it is to be an “aid in creating inclusive learning environments for all students and teachers,”  according  to an MTP press release.  For example, a math problem in the revised curricula “might include a mother and father, but can also include a single parent or parents of the same

Leading Rabbi ‘mortified’ after Biden praises Jews’ ‘immense influence’ in promoting gay ‘marriage’

A leading Rabbi says he is furious after Vice President Joseph Biden   credited  Jewish leaders last week for the success of same-sex ‘marriage’ in America . “The Jewish people have contributed greatly to America. No group has had such an outsized influence per capita as all of you standing before you,” Biden said last Tuesday night at a reception hosted by the Democratic National Committee in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month .  Rabbi Yehuda Levin Biden offered praise for Jewish cultural and artistic “movements in America” that he said were responsible for changing the country’s attitudes on marriage.  “I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it’s in Hollywood or social media are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry. The influence is immense, the influence is immense. And, I might add, it is all to the good,” he said.  Biden’s comments have caused outrage.  “I’m mortified, I’m absolutely mortified,” said Rabbi Yehuda Levin, spokesman for the U

Pornographic lesbian film wins Palme d’Or: festival director urges gay ‘marriage’ opponents to watch

On the same day as up to a million traditional marriage supporters  marched  in Paris against France's new gay 'marriage' law this past weekend, a sex-saturated film about lesbian lovers took home the country's top film award: the Cannes Film Festival 's Palme d’Or. The French film , entitled in English “Blue is the Warmest Color,” focuses on a 15-year-old French girl who falls in love with an older art student. It has been as much talked about for its no-holds barred graphic sex scenes, as for the quality of the story or the acting. According to the UK’s  Daily Mail , one lengthy sex scene, clocking in at nearly 12 minutes, leaves “nothing to the imagination.”  A writer for Variety said the film contains "the most explosively graphic lesbian sex scenes in recent memory."  The over-the-top sexuality was viewed by some as a barrier to the film’s success, but on Sunday the Cannes jury announced that the director and two lead actresses were to

Refusing to remain silent: homosexual marriage

The media claim we don’t exist. OK, that’s a slight exaggeration. But after all, we’re Millennials , born during the Reagan administration . We’re supposed to be of the generation that is embracing same-sex marriage in droves. Instead, we’re standing strong on upholding the truth about what marriage is. The first March for Marriage We’ve been asked—repeatedly—whether the position we’re promoting is pointless. Are we willing to endure cultural scorn for holding to a position as supposedly outmoded as natural marriage? Politicos and pundits offer hyperbolic missives on how conservatives are losing young Americans, who are likely to be more libertarian on social issues. The preferred talking point is to assert the demise of the opposition; Same-sex marriage is “inevitable.” A justly revered conservative columnist, George F. Will , has said twice on ABC’s “This Week” that opposition to same-sex marriage is a dying trait. “Quite literally,” he said, “the opposition to gay
