BRUSSELS - In an astonshing display of gentleness in the face of a vile attack, the head of the Catholic Church in Belgium , Archbishop Andre-Joseph Leonard, remained calmly seated with eyes closed in prayer Tuesday as four topless women attacked him with shouts and curses and doused him with water.  It’s not the first time the bishop has been attacked for standing up for the Church’s teachings on homosexuality and expressing his concern for those who live the homosexual lifestyle. The incident took place at the ULB University in Brussels where the archbishop was participating in a debate on blasphemy laws. April 23, 2013 - The French National Assembly voted for the text legalizing same-sex “marriage” and adoption by 331 votes against 225 on Tuesday afternoon . The Socialists were joined by the Greens, the Communist party and the Radicals and other leftwing groups, but also by Centrists and two members of the opposition UMP (ex- president Sarkozy ’s party), in adopting what Christiane Taubira , the French Justice minister, called a “change of civilization.” A handful of Socialists, Communists and Radicals voted against. Seconds after voting most of the opposition members left the chamber while the majority of the Left gave a standing ovation to the law. Clapping in rhythm, they chanted: “Equality, equality!”  A few minutes before the vote, the Assembly’s socialist president, Claude Bartolone , had reacted angrily to a move by the public in the galleries, when two young men started to unfurl a white banner with the word “Referendum.” “Get those enemies of democracy out of here!”

Two girls were brought on stage and asked to act like lesbians out on a date. The boys were told to carry a condom with them at all times. Parents weren't given any notice of this school event. And, confronted by angry parents, "the principal and the district superintendant are defending the workshops, and are advising that they will schedule more." Gym instructor Carla Hale, 57, was fired last week after an anonymous parent wrote the Diocese of Columbus to complain because in an  obituary  for Hale’s mother, Hale was listed as a survivor alongside her longtime lesbian partner, Julie.  Hale signed a morality clause as part of her contract, affirming that “ Catholic school personnel are expected to be examples of moral behavior and professionalism,” and acknowledging her employment could be terminated for “immorality” or “serious unethical conduct.
