The report , titled “The limits of anti-bullying legislation : A cross-Canada assessment of what legislation can—and can’t—do,” chronicles the position of Canadian provinces with regards to anti-bullying measures and legislation, and examines whether bullying policies and legislation actually work across North America. “Politicians are falling all over themselves to introduce legislatio

Colombia’s Constitutional Court gives custody of two boys to American homosexual

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) May 24, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Colombian government has lost a battle in the country’s ultraliberal Constitutional Court to protect two Colombian children from adoption by an American homosexual activist. The Court has granted custody of two boys, ages 11 and 13 to Chandler Burr , a former perfume critic for the New York Times who is famous for promoting the claim that homosexuality is an inborn trait, an idea contradicted by numerous studies and regarded as unproven by many researchers. Burr’s s attempt to adopt the two Colombian children   ran into trouble   when authorities discovered his homosexuality, which was not revealed to them during the adoption process.  Colombia ’s General Procurator has declared its intention to ask for a nullification of the ruling, on the grounds that it violates the fundamental rights of children , and ignores the Constitutional principle that a family can only

Christian psychotherapist loses case after gay ‘sting’ operation

LONDON , May 24, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Lesley Pilkington, the Christian psychotherapist who was  the subject of a “sting” operation  by a homosexualist activist, has lost her appeal to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy . The BACP has informed her that she will lose her senior accredited status, after she was tricked into providing counseling for unwanted homosexuality at the request of a fake client who was secretly an undercover gay activist. Pilkington was told that she should not have assumed that her client, Patrick Strudwick , wanted to proceed under a Christian therapeutic approach, despite the fact they had both agreed to do so. She was also told that she should not have taken his claim that he was depressed because of his homosexuality at face value. The BACP also ruled that Strudwick had been a real client, despite his having admitted that he sought Pilkington’s help only as a pretense to entrap her. The BACP ruling admitted th

Homosexual Marriage does not make any sense!

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) By  Brendan O’Neill   Gay marriage: what the hell is that all about? Anyone who asks himself the simple question of how gay marriage came to be a massive talking point in both America and Europe will surely conclude that it is the most surreal political issue of our age. There is no mass campaign for it; historically, gays haven’t been interested in getting married; and according to a recent opinion poll , while 45 per cent of Britons support gay marriage, 78 per cent think that making it legal should not be a parliamentary priority. And yet somehow, seemingly without logic or reason, gay marriage has become the issue of 2012 and is now more hotly debated in commentary circles than just about any other thing on Earth. Nothing in the gay-marriage debate adds up. Nothing. For example, gay-marriage rights

Why homosexual marriage must not become law

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Saen Collins coming out against Homosexual Marriage.  The growing clamour in favour of gay marriage has led me to recognise that it is important to speak out and be counted – against the gay-marriage campaign. This is not because I am a Christian or anti-gay, but because… 1) The gay-marriage campaign is elitist and believes its opponents are ‘ bigots ’ Anyone who is against gay marriage is immediately considered to be someone who denies gay people’s humanity, does not believe in civil rights, is on the wrong side of history, is living in the past, is a ‘homophobe’ and – most of all – is a bigot. As Brendan O’Neill highlighted last week, there was a tremendous amount of abuse hurled at the 61 per cent of people in North Carolina who voted for Amendme

Intolerant Homosexual Activism

English: State seal of North Carolina (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The bile being spat at the people of North Carolina exposes the ugly elitism of the gay-marriage lobby. This orgy of bile, from the mainstream branding of North Carolina's voters as 'ignorant' to the peripheral demands that they do the world a favour and kill themselves, shows what is behind the gay-marriage campaign. This is not about rights and equality, or love and happiness. Rather, gay marriage has become a tool through which the right-minded sections of society express their moral superiority over the dumb, the brainwashed, the insufficiently cosmopolitan, the churchgoing. Gay marriage has become a kind of weapon, wielded by the right-on to demonstrate that they are better—that is, less brainwashed and more caring—than your average redneck or country black. Supporting gay marriage has become a kind of cultural signifier, a way of distinguishing oneself from the ignorant throng. Given all thi

Obama Homosexual Marriages

Same Sex Marriage (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The president's position regarding " same-sex marriage " has set off a "firestorm," unlike any other debate in our civil society, perhaps, since the civil rights unrest of the mid-20th century. The advocacy for same-sex marriage, while in conflict with our nation's long-standing moral posture, has indeed created opportunity for the church to communicate our unequivocal position about God 's design and foundation for humanity, the biblical mandate for heterosexuality through the bonds of matrimony and the centuries-old understanding of the only acceptable means of procreation, habitation and the establishment of the family. The president suggests same-sex relationships and male-female relationships committed to by oath before God and/or witnesses, where formal documents are signed before a civil or ecclesiastical figure. It further implies that both are equally good and valuable. In addition to this, it s
