If you are a believing Catholic, chances are many people will consider you a bigot,” the bishop wrote. “To believe, as Catholics do, that homosexual acts are disordered, as well as immoral, is considered a form of prejudice against people with same-sex attractions.” Bishop Daniel Conlon The state stripped funding from Catholic adoption agencies this past summer after the legislature passed a same-sex civil unions bill. Mexican Supreme Court says states have no right to sue against homosexual ‘marriage’

MEXICO CITY , January 25, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - The Mexican Supreme Court ruled this week in a 7-4 vote that the states of Jalisco and Baja California do not have a legitimate legal interest in their suit challenging Mexico City ’s homosexual “marriage” law , which also allows same-sex couples to adopt children. The two states sued on the grounds that the Mexico City law, by way of the Constitution’s “full faith and credit” clause, requires them to accept homosexual marriages and adoptions within their own jurisdictions, despite the fact that the states do not recognize homosexual “marriage.” Mexico's Supreme Court Six out of 11 justices signed a decision yesterday claiming that the states have no basis for suits against the law because they are not required to change their own laws. However, Luna Ramos, one of four judges who dissented from the majority decision, observed that the Supreme Court’s previous decision requires other states to accept laws that run contrary

What is the sin of Homosexuality?

Image
Image via Wikipedia People on both sides of the issue often misunderstand the sin of homosexuality. In trying to argue that there are acceptable types of homosexual relationships , some try to define the sin of homosexuality by limiting it to specific forms of sexual behavior between those of the same gender such as pederasty ( sex between men and boys). Defining unhealthy same-sex behavior in this manner, however, does not reflect the spirit or language of the Bible. On the other side of the issue are those who fail to recognize the difference between experiencing same-sex attractions and choosing to pursue homosexual lust and/or behavior. Generally speaking, those who feel same-sex attraction experience desires that are not initially chosen. They are  conditioned.  The attractions usually stem from early influences and are developed outside of a person’s conscious awareness. Feeling sexual desires for the same gender is not the sin of homosexuality.  Romans 1:26-27  elaborates:
