School district caves to gay lobby, pays $800,000 to settle transgender student case

The Kenosha Unified School District has caved to the transgender agenda,  dropping its appeal  to the U.S. Supreme Court and paying a $800,000 settlement in the case of a biologically female student who says she is a "boy." In July 2016, Wisconsin high schooler Ashley Whitaker sued her school. She said she suffered from depression and anxiety and that her life was miserable – not because of her gender dysphoria, but because George Nelson Tremper High School didn’t acknowledge her as a "boy" and allow her to use the boys’ bathroom.  The board voted 5-2 last week to not continue the case and to withdraw the district’s petition to the Supreme Court. The district’s attorney Ron Stadler said that the district would likely have succeeded at the Supreme Court, but that the monetary and insurance risks weighed heavily. “I think we have an excellent argument, but if you look at it in terms that you’ve got these escalating costs, you’ve got a good argument, bu

Entire family – mom, dad, son & daughter – becomes ‘transgender’

“The father identifies as a woman. His fiancée, the mother-to-be, identifies as a man. The son considers himself a girl and, of course, the daughter thinks she’s actually a boy.”  Thus begins an unlikely story out of Arizona about an entire family engulfed by transgenderism, as  reported by CNS News .   “Daniel Harrott was born a woman, while his fiancée, Shirley Austin was born a man. Both have previously been married,” continues the report.  “Eleven year-old Mason and 13 year-old Joshua have also switched sexes.” News of the family spread quickly after a report was posted on the Drudge website.   What is not revealed in any of the reports currently circulating is if any members of the family have turned to medical interventions ––either hormonal or surgical–– in their various quests to “transition.” Many in the media and the world at large were quick to affirm this family’s choices.  Yet there is plenty of reason to be concerned for this family of four, especially th

Transgender sensitivity video tells police to let men into women’s washrooms

A new transgender sensitivity video from the Department of Justice (DOJ) instructs police officers on how to deal with complaints about men using women’s restrooms and instructs them to ask people if they’d rather be called “sir” or “ma’am.” “When someone’s name or gender on a license is different from what you expect, how do you react?” Cpl. Evan Baxter asks in the video. “Is this person committing identity theft? Are they a fugitive? Possibly they’re just transgender.” The DOJ’s Community Relations Service made the training video titled “Law Enforcement and the Transgender Community” in consultation with LGBT advocacy groups. The video depicts three scenarios in which law enforcement might come in contact with the “transgender community.” In the first scenario, a police officer asks a man dressed as a woman for his license and registration after pulling him over for a taillight issue. The police officer asks the driver, “Do you prefer if I call you ma’am or sir?” “I don

Charlotte schools tell staff: Don’t call students ‘boy’ or ‘girl’

A North Carolina school board has issued recommendations for faculty and staff to stop calling male children "boys" and female students "girls." The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools gave a presentation to principals and counselors entitled “Supporting Transgender Students” that focused on "bully prevention." Among the various means of preventing bullying is eliminating all references to boys or girls. Instead, the policy instructs staff to call boys and girls "students" or "scholars." The presentation explained a new set of guidelines for faculty and staff to follow regarding transgender students. For instance, teachers will be required to "work with students" to help them determine their sexual orientation. The new guidelines clearly consider student privacy a priority over parental rights. If a child decides s/he is the opposite sex, parents are not necessarily to be told. "A student’s transgender status is c
