The Bishop of Albany, William Love, has been accused of violating canon law by showing “unwillingness to abide by Resolution B012” – which stipulates that bishops must permit same-sex weddings to take place in their diocese. The Resolution introduced in 2018 says that if a bishop disagrees with same-sex marriage and does not wish to participate, they must invite another bishop to do so instead. ‘Direct conflict’ When the resolution was passed, Bishop Love responded with a pastoral letter saying same-sex unions are “in direct conflict and contradiction to God’s intent for the sacrament of marriage”. Christian Wallabies players have blasted Rugby Australia, saying they 'felt muzzled' and were not allowed to publicly support their teammate Israel Folau before he was sacked for posting homophobic messages to Instagram. Senior Wallabies Sekope Kepu and Samu Kerevi both supported Folau after his social media posts about homosexuals being condemned to hell when they died. Folau's lucrative contract was torn up by Rugby Australia boss Raelene Castle before he launched legal action and reached a multi-million dollar settlement in December.   Kerevi and Kepu wrote affidavits submitted to the Federal Circuit Court of Australia in support of Folau in November, which were later obtained by The Australian.  In the documents both men state they were 'muzzled' by Rugby Australia when they felt they were prevented from speaking with the media over the Folau saga.  'My perception was that the media was briefed to approach people who would toe the 'anti-Isra

The new head of the Anglican Church in Uganda, Stephen Kazimba Mugalu, has spoken out against same-sex couples at his enthronement. The head of the Church of England and worldwide Anglican Christianity, Justin Welby, was there to support Kazimba as he was formally enthroned. And as the Archbishop of Uganda and Bishop of Kampala, Kazimba now has widespread influence. Around a third of the east African country’s citizens are members of the Church of Uganda. And the church is particularly influential in Uganda’s politics. It is certainly politically incorrect to say this. In fact, in the eyes of many, what I’m about to say is a classic example of extreme religious bigotry. But I will say it nonetheless. A Proudly Gay President Would be Bad for America Choosing an out and proud “married” gay man to run for president, let alone become president, would contribute to the further degeneration and moral confusion of our society along with further attacks on our most fundamental rights. A moral, political, and cultural earthquake tremored last Thursday night as CNN’s Equality Town Hall featured the leading contenders for the Democratic Nomination for President of the United States. The rhetoric of the candidates finally bared the teeth of a Democratic Party sold out to the most radical proposals of the LGBTQ movement. Indeed, a particular exchange between CNN anchor Don Lemon and former Congressman Beto O’Rourke revealed to what extent contenders for the Democratic Nomination will go to deconstruct religious liberty in the name of the newly declared sexual liberties. Lemon asked O’Rourke,  “This is from your LGBTQ plan, this is what you wrote: “Freedom of religion is a fundamental right, but it should not be used to discriminate.” Lemon then pressed the question: “Do you think religious institutions like colleges, churches, charities, should they lose their tax-exempt status if they oppose same-sex marriage?” Without skipping a beat or drawing a breath, O
